Seeking to hire a dependable Animal Care Technician part-time in Wilmington.

Available to work some mornings & other times during the week/weekend.
Pay: $11 an hour.

Duties include daily cleaning and sanitizing of spaces. Safely handling & care
of dogs or cats, feeding, laundry, dishes, and giving medication as requested.

Qualifications: Be 18 years of age or older, high school graduate or equivalent. Dependable with strong attention to detail and good time management. Prior handling, training or health care experience with dogs or cats is a plus. Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance required.

Introducing Moichi , a sweet, wonderfully loving girl. A tabby and white cat, Moichi has been through a lot in her short one year of life. When she came to PAWS, Moichi had an injured jaw with all the skin removed from the side of her mouth and face. This can be attributed to either being sideswiped by a car or thrown from a car. As a result, Moichi eats mostly canned food but can eat Hills Science Diet kitten food as it is very small kibble. Other than food needs, she is perfectly normal. and loves to play and curl up in people's laps. Moichi deserves a great home, will you consider giving her one?

UPDATE! Kipper was a little kitten when adopted 1 1/2 years ago from PAWS. His human sent these pictures and wrote that, "Oscar (formerly known as Kipper) has turned out to be the biggest love bug. Falls asleep on my belly almost every night."
The photo on bottom right is Kipper/Oscar before adoption. We are always glad to get updates on pets adopted from PAWS. đź©·

Meet Posey, a sweet and fun-loving calico. She loves to sling catnip toys around and play. Adorable and uniquely marked, Posey loves to play with humans and does well with other kitties. She has an estimated birth date of May 20, 2026, . Posey has been vet checked, spayed, is up to date on vaccines and on flea prevention.

Don't think this is a judging look, instead, it's one that you can call, "well, I'm waiting to hear about your day."
You see, this is Devin and she will be happy to be your companion. Devin will be willing to listen to your stories, observations about life or anything that you would like to say. She's also willing to be a be a part of anything you have going on. And this one-year-old can be quite content entertaining herself as well. Devin is a spunky girl who likes playing with toys and other cats plus napping at times. She was in a home with a dog and pretty much left the dog alone but would assert her space if the dog came up to her face. She's a great all-around girl so you would be wise to consider Devin if you are looking for companionship and someone to keep your secrets.
