Hippocrates once said that “the greatest medicine of all is teaching people how not to need it.” The same philosophy can be applied to pets, and it’s part of who we are at Wilmington Animal Hospital. Our veterinarians practice traditional veterinary medicine with a more individualized approach to prevent disease while promoting overall wellness for all of our dog and cat patients in Wilmington, DE.

Last year we did our own food drive for our community for Thanksgiving. We ended up receiving over 300lbs of food donated by our amazing clients and friends! So, this year we want to do it again, this time the food bank dropped off 2 boxes in our waiting room. We were going to officially announce it closer to Thanksgiving. But, if anyone chooses to donate the boxes are here so we will start early! Not only will we be accepting human food, but also unopened pet food/snacks! The food bank will deliver all pet food to a local shelter!
