Welcome to the pack Carmela. Our newest foster baby got her freedom “flight” to Wilmington yesterday. More to come as we get to know this sweet girl. ❤️

This Saturday is Neighborhood Pet Store Day, a day to celebrate the local pet stores that are so much more than a place to buy ridiculously cute things for your furry family.

They’re pillars of their communities. They support local rescues, help dogs find homes, know their customers (and their dogs 😉), and care about carrying products that are safe, healthy and good enough for their own animals.

So naturally, the girls and I are going to celebrate by hopping around to some of our favorite local pet stores and showing them some love. ❤️🐾

They definitely miss their shop-dog days and seeing all of you. And while they are technically retired, I have a feeling they’re going to show up at these stores like they still have a key.

And while we’re celebrating our fellow neighborhood pet stores, we’re also celebrating the final days of Coastal Paws.

What we have left is definitely a random assortment at this point. But it’s all still fabulous merchandise, and we’d love to find it good homes.

SO, starting TODAY, and all weekend:

🐾 EVERYTHING is 50–75% OF
📦 Shipping is only $5!
🎉 FREE SHIPPING on orders over $75!

This year would have marked 10 years of Coastal Paws. TEN YEARS. And while I’m incredibly grateful for every single one of them, I think it’s time to officially close this chapter.

Will we be back someday?

I sure hope so. ❤️

Until then, thank you for being part of the Coastal Paws story and for supporting our little dream for nearly a decade.

But this Saturday, go support your favorite neighborhood pet store. Buy something. Tell them you appreciate them. Support the people who support your community.

Soaking in these last few hours with my Zoe. ❤️ Also known as Zozo… Zoe Bear 🐻… and one of the longest foster puppy residents around here.

And you know what? It paid off BIG TIME.

You’ve been here long enough to become part of the furniture, the pack, and my heart — which definitely makes saying goodbye a little harder. But it also means you’re going to one of the BEST homes.

A family who loved you from afar, waited patiently, and knew when the time was right to bring you home. And bonus… you’re going from a house full of hairy weirdos to a pack of FOUR, so you’re basically going from one chaos coordinator to another. 😂

It has been an absolute honor to be your foster momma and your little bridge to forever, darling.

Now go live your BEST LIFE. Run, play, snuggle, cause a little trouble… you know, all the important things.

I cannot wait to watch you grow up and see the amazing girl you become.

Love you forever, Zozo. ❤️

For those following along with the Zoe Chronicles… WE HAVE NEWS! 🎉🐾

Zoe caught the eye of a wonderful local family and they have officially decided to add this sweet girl to their pack! ❤️

And she’ll be their FOURTH dog, so for anyone keeping track… I would just like it noted for the record that I am clearly not the only one with a slight dog-hoarding problem. 😂

I’m SO ridiculously happy for this girl. She’s come such a long way, and watching her go from that scared little girl to the happy, goofy Zoe she is today has been pretty damn special.

She heads to her (fabulous) forever home next week, so I’ll be over here soaking up every last Zoe snuggle, kiss and ridiculous little personality moment until then. ❤️🐾

Zoe Chronicles: happily ending in a forever home!

🐾 THIS is the power of fostering. 🐾

Two months ago, Zoe stepped off the plane as a scared little girl who had absolutely NO idea what she had gotten herself into. New people, new place, new everything 😳

With a little patience, a lot of love, some snacks, and the security of a home, Zoe has blossomed into a happy, playful, confident girl. She’s learning that people are pretty great, beds are even better, and life can actually be pretty darn good. ❤️

And THIS is why we foster. We give them a safe place to land and the time they need to become the dog they were meant to be.

But Zoe’s glow-up isn’t the end of her story.

She’s still looking for her forever family. 🏡.

Someone who will continue the spoiling, the snuggling, the patience, and yes… the snacks 😂

She came off that plane a scared little girl. Now she’s ready to fly straight into her forever. ✈️

We still have some GORGEOUS flannel fringe snap bandannas and fall & holiday bowties just waiting to make your pup look ridiculously adorable—even if they’re still panting in the heat. A few pics below but more on the site!

And because Coastal Paws is officially clearing out the last of the goodies, everything is 50–75% OFF! 🎉

🍁 Flannel fringe snap bandannas

🎄 Holiday bowties
🐶 Dog hoodies (and human ones)

50–75% OFF. Once they’re gone, they’re GONE!

🎂 Happy 6th Birthday, Cali! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating one of the original Coastal Paws personalities — our very own Cali ❤️

Six years ago, this little firecracker came into our lives and quickly made it very clear that she had opinions…LOTS of them. 😂

She may look like a German Shepherd, but make no mistake — there is a full-blown Chihuahua living inside that body. People used to think we had two dogs. Nope. Just one very layered mutt.

Cali was my COVID puppy, my beloved shop dog, and the self-appointed supervisor of Coastal Paws. She greeted customers, kept an eye on the inventory, and generally made sure everyone knew who was really in charge.

She also became the best little sister to Riley after we lost our sweet Grayson, and watching their bond grow has been one of the sweetest parts of having her in our lives.

Even though Coastal Paws may have closed its brick-and-mortar doors, some of our favorite memories will always include the four-legged staff members who made the shop what it was.

Happy 6th birthday to our sassy girl, Cali! We love you, big momma. Keep being your perfectly ridiculous, feisty, loving self.

Once a Coastal Paws shop dog, always part of the pack. 🐾

🐾❤️HAPPY NATIONAL DOG DAY❤️🐾

Today is a day to celebrate the dogs who make our lives happier, crazier, messier, and SO much better.

From my own pack to my two current foster angels, Zoe & Addie, I’m pretty sure life is just better with dogs in it. ❤️🐾

And if National Dog Day has you feeling like your pup deserves to be spoiled… we’ve got you covered!

🎄 Want to get a jump start on Christmas shopping? Even for the dog loving people? Yep, we have gifts galore for humans!
🎁 Need to spoil your favorite four-legged family member?

The ENTIRE Coastal Paws website is still on sale, with most items 50–75% OFF! 🙌

Yep… we’re still clearing out the final chapter of Coastal Paws, so there are some seriously good deals waiting for you.

So celebrate National Dog Day the right way: give your dog a kiss, buy them something they absolutely do not need, and tell them it was their idea. 😂🐾

Happy National Dog Day from all of us at Coastal Paws! ❤️
