DOLLY IS THE SWEET WHITE AND TAN LITTLE LADY!!! She barked a lot in the kennel and then became the sweetest thing after we opened the kennel! Perfect to scare away prowlers and then snuggling on the couch!!!💙🐾💚

JOLENE IS A HANDFUL BUT A VERY SWEET ENERGY!!! Barked a lot in the cage and then just wanted to play after it was opened! Needs some training but is responding well to corrections on the lead! Think she is a smart lady!💚🐾💙

MEET OUR TWO NEWEST PUPS FROM NEW HANOVER CO ANIMAL CONTROL!!! We have taken a few weeks off but have comeback strong with these two sweet little ladies!!! They do need names so expect a poll on our private page!!💚🏡💙🐶💚🐾💙

FIRST WE HAVE THE WHITE AND TAN MIXED PITTY!!! She was a little vocal before I let her out but became very and docile once I got her out on the lead! Very sweet and is very accepting of other dogs so far!!!💙🐾💚

SECOND IS THE BLACK PIT MIX, but I see a little small version of a Cane Corso as well!! This one is a nut! Vocal in the kennel as well and took a little more to coax her out of her shell and then she was very affectionate! Very playful with other dogs!!!💚🐾💙

JUST A REMINDER since it’s been a minute, HOUNDS TOWN CERTIFIED is just our way of helping to socialize and get dogs adopted. We put them through all of our regular screening including Temp test and vaccinations. We bring them to HT for at least 3 visits. If they have 3 visits with no issues, then they are HOUNDS TOWN CERTIFIED!!! And hopefully easier for someone to decide it’s a good fit for adoption!💙🐶💚

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZIA GIRL!!! Zia came to us with a lot of anxiety at first! She was seen as a big scary Rotti who loved to bare her teeth at strangers. We saw past that and showed a little patience and understanding of how a dog thinks and within days she started letting down her guard! Today she pranced right in the door, tail wagging and went right up to our newest shift lead and started snuggling right away! At Hounds Town we don’t treat your dog like cattle or a human, we treat them like the incredible, loving and amazing Dogs they are! 💚🐶💙
