Sometimes our patients get themselves into the most unexpected situations! 🐶🩺

This sweet 3-year-old English Bulldog (Gia) recently underwent an exploratory surgery after swallowing something she definitely shouldn’t have, a baby doll!🧸😳 Thankfully, the foreign body was successfully removed and we’re so happy to report a successful surgery!

A huge shoutout to Dr. Telles & our amazing veterinary team for taking such great care of this sweet girl. Wishing her a smooth and speedy recovery!❤️🐾

Just a friendly reminder: If you suspect your pet has swallowed something they shouldn’t have, don’t wait, contact your veterinarian right away! Foreign bodies can quickly become a serious emergency.

🔥HOT temps =serious risks for your pets!🥵🐾
With these Texas temps, please remember that our furry friends can overheat MUCH faster then we realize.

-Always provide plenty of shade & water (even better, bring them inside)!
-Avoid walks during the hottest part of the day. Mornings or evenings is best.
-Never leave your pets in a parked car (even if it's just for a minute).
-Watch for signs of overheating: excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting or collapse.

If you think your pet may be suffering from heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately. ☎️ 903-873-4100
