Do I have anybody looking for a pet quality JOHN? He is a 49” paint and is so so sweet and friendly. Halter broke like a horse, loads/unloads, takes a saddle like a pro and leadlines the kiddos around.

If anybody is interested in a family of 3 standard donkeys (mama and her grown jenny and jack babies)… I have a little trio that I don’t have a whole lot of money in so they are cheap!

They are a bonded family and must go together.

They’re gentle and come to feed but not halter broke or quite pet quality yet. They do eat treats out of your hand and will let you touch them.

Here are a cheaper option compared to what I normally have! I just have a lot of client horses in right now so haven’t messed with these guys quite as much. They are both young 3-4 year old JACKS and are gentle! No kick or bite. They come to feed and get along well with other donkeys and horses.

Tater is a 15 year old JOHN (castrated) standing 33”. He is super friendly and loves people! He’s easy to catch, I can walk up to him anywhere in the open. He takes a saddle like a horse and is a perfect angel for leadline. He does ride by himself some but I don’t have a kid small enough that can really ride to get videos. Tater leads and loads like a horse as well and would be PERFECT for a petting zoo, pony carousel, beer or therapy donkey. I have videos of him leading and the kids playing with him.

The last of the girls left from the group!

J1 and J6 are big soggy thick made mammoth cross Jennies! They stand around 45-48” (others in the group were up to 50”) and are exposed to a mammoth Jack.

J2 came from a different place and is smaller made, just your typical standard donkey. She probably stands 40-42”. She is exposed to a paint jack.

They are all gentle but not overly friendly. These are not pets, these are pasture donkeys. They come to feed and are easy to handle and be around but not halter broke or pet gentle.

Cheeto is an absolute pet! He’s been used a bunch on the donkey arm teaching horses to rope and is still good on the arm but he really really loves people. Cheeto is friendly and will come right to you. He is mostly halter broke but does like to walk on the end of the rope because he’s used to feeling the pressure of the donkey arm. He’s nice to other animals, gets along with the horses and even is nice to dogs. He would be great in a petting zoo or family setting.

💚🥒 Little Dill 🥒💚

Little Dill is an 8 year old JOHN (castrated) donkey standing just 34.5” tall and weighing 330 lbs. He is friendly, sweet, and gentle. Little Dill is halter broke and picks up his feet easily. He is as wide as he is tall, talk about built like a horse! Little Dill is very tolerant of craziness. He will try to get away from something he’s scared of but took everything in stride. From us making him get in the trailer with the snowman, to my 3 year old running around playing with a flag, to us riding the horses on and off the trailer. He stands tied like a horse and loads/unloads on and off the trailer like one also. He would be great as a beer donkey or petting zoo donkey. Little Dill does have a favorite snack, CHRISTMAS TREE CAKES! 🎄🧁

There is one Jack and one John labeled in blue letters.

The boys are halter broke and extremely sweet and gentle. The Jennies have varying personalities but none are absolute pets. All are gentle but have been in a cow pasture. These are your guardian jennies, not pet jennies unless you want to bond with one! A couple appear heavy bred.
