🐾 Dr. Art Sutfin, DVM, DACT 🐾

Lastly, we’re shining the spotlight on Dr. Art Sutfin, DVM, DACT, whose experience and dedication to veterinary medicine, spans an incredible 55 years! Dr. Sutfin is also a Diplomate of the American College of Theriogenologists (DACT), a specialty that reflects advanced training and expertise in animal reproduction.

For more than 5 decades, Dr. Sutfin has devoted each day to caring and treating animals. From running out to farm calls in the morning, then treating small animal appointments at the clinic, just to run back out the door to treat more large animals until dark; he is always there. He has wholeheartedly dedicated his life to the care of animals all shapes and sizes. His extensive experience, knowledge, and ability to work through even the most challenging cases has made him a truly trusted and respected veterinarian in his field. Although veterinary medicine has changed tremendously throughout his career, his dedication to his patients and the people who care for them has remained a constant. He has built many of those relationships over the years by being someone our clients know they can turn to whenever their animals are in need.

We are truly so fortunate to have someone with so much knowledge and guidance that we can all turn to. Fifty five years in veterinary medicine is an extraordinary accomplishment and a true testament to a lifetime dedicated to animals, agriculture, and the community he serves. We are incredibly proud to have Dr. Sutfin and grateful for everything he continues to bring to our patients, clients, and the clinic.

Meet Christine, Practice Manager/Vet Tech 🐾❤️

If you’ve been to Willows Veterinary Clinic, there’s a good chance you’ve met Christine! Christine has been part of the Willows Vet family for 11 years and is our amazing manager and vet tech.

Christine is truly the person who makes so much happen behind the scenes. She keeps everything running, takes care of the little and big details, and somehow seems to remember almost everything about our clients and their pets! 🐶🐱 From remembering a pet’s name and history to making sure our team has what we need, she has a way of making everyone feel cared for.

Her dedication to our clients, their pets, and our team is a huge part of what makes Willows Vet so special. We honestly can’t imagine our office without her! ❤️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Tristen, one of our wonderful Veterinary Assistants here at Willows Veterinary Clinic. 💙

Tristen started with us at the beginning of the year, all while finishing her Bachelor’s in Ag Business at Chico State. At the end of this week, she’ll be putting that degree to use as she begins an exciting new career in the Ag Business field!

Tristen is such an important part of our team and plays a role in so many aspects of the care our patients receive each day. We truly appreciate her not only for the hard work she puts in every day, but for the kindness and dedication she shows to our patients, their families, and her fellow team members. There is so much that happens behind the scenes in veterinary medicine, and we are incredibly thankful to have her there helping us provide the best care possible.

Tristen, we can’t thank you enough for everything you do for our patients and our team. We are so proud of you and wish you so much success in your new adventure! 💕

Today we’re excited to recognize and appreciate the newest member of our Willows Veterinary Clinic team, Miss Emma, CVA! ❤️

She first joined us as an intern, where we had the opportunity to watch her learn, grow, and develop her skills firsthand. We’re so happy that her journey with us didn’t end when her internship did and she is now officially part of our team as a Certified Veterinary Assistant! 🩺

Her compassion, dedication, and willingness to jump in and help has already made her such a wonderful addition to our clinic. From caring for our patients to helping our team behind the scenes, we truly appreciate everything she does.

We’re so excited to have her continue growing with us and can’t wait to see what the future holds for her.

Mark your calendars! Join us next Saturday, June 6 to celebrate California Adopt-a-Pet Day, with waived adoption fees for all available animals. Don’t miss this chance to bring home your new best friend!

Available animals are updated in real time, so keep an eye on our website to see the pets that will be available for adoption June 6th.

The shelter will be open extended hours as part of this statewide event! Adoption fees will be waived on June 6 from 11AM to 5PM, made possible by the generosity of the ASPCA. Licensing fees will apply.
