We are incredibly honored that our non-profit, Hanging Up The Harness (HUTH), is partnering with the amazing crew at Chickenstock Music Festival to celebrate and honor working sled dogs with the “Pet Parade for a Purpose” this June 13th on the festival grounds in Chicken, Alaska.
This year’s parade helps support retired canine athletes through our HUTH adoption program—giving these incredible dogs the transition, care, and forever homes they deserve after years of dedication on the trail.
And truly… none of this happens alone. Thank you all for the support as we launch into a new era of growth and increasing capacity to serve the sled dogs we honor and love.
Huge gratitude to our HUTH supporters over the years, to Carrie for the heart and steady dedication she brings every single day, to Darlette for her ongoing support and belief in the mission, and to the interns who have rolled up their sleeves through mud, snow, cold, chores, and long days to help us care for these incredible dogs. This community effort is what keeps moving everything forward.
