🐴 Open Rein Horse Spotlight: Blue Fancy

Meet Blue Fancy, a 2-year-old, 14h grade Quarter Horse filly who's already getting some real ranch experience.

She's had 30 days of training and is currently being lightly ridden to gather cattle. Her seller says she's gentle, sure-footed, crosses creeks and logs, and isn't afraid to head into the brush.

A few things to like about her:
⭐ Shows a natural interest in cattle
⭐ Has had a rope swung off her
⭐ Easy to catch and good for shoeing
⭐ Friendly, willing and forgiving

A nice prospect for someone wanting to bring along their own ranch, rope or trail horse.

📍 Heppner, Oregon
💰 5,500

🪩 Open Rein Horse Spotlight: Elvis Presley!

Meet Elvis, a 3-year-old black stud pony with some pretty fun talents!

This handsome little guy drives a cart, ground drives, and has been ridden both ba****ck and under saddle. His seller describes him as gentle, forgiving, not spooky, and surprisingly mellow for a young stallion.

He's got some speed when asked, but also knows how to take it slow. Sounds like he could be a fun prospect for a handy young rider!

🐴 Open Rein Horse Spotlight: Spookin Up a Drift

How about this gorgeous red roan filly?! 😍

Meet Remi, a 2025 AQHA filly with some impressive reining and ranch bloodlines behind her, including Spooks Gotta Gun and Quatro Dry Drift.

She's got the looks, but what really caught my attention is her personality and experience. Her owner has been ponying her on group rides in the mountains and says she's one of the easiest youngsters she's ever taken along!

She's described as bold, curious, confident and sensible, with a little sass thrown in. 😉

Remi could be a really interesting prospect for ranch versatility, reining, cow horse or all-around performance.

I founded Open Rein because I wanted a better solution to horse shopping -- something more personal, more honest, safer and more fun!

Over the last year, that simple idea has evolved into a pretty cool collaboration with some awesome people, a richer user experience by sharing events and more helpful by including a "Tack Room" and just a lot of fun along the way connecting with people like you!

Come take a look and see the variety of horses we've collected for you or list your horse today!
Thank you and Happy Trails ❤ Christina
