Looking for a sweet, sturdy little horse who loves kids and loves her people? Meet Sophie. 🤎

At just 12 hands, Sophie is a great size for kids while having the build to accommodate adults too. She was well started under saddle, spent years as a cart horse, and more recently has been used primarily to lead and pony children around.

She's friendly, eager to please, a quick learner, and described as the kind who will follow you around like a puppy. She could use a little tune-up on steering under saddle, but brings a lot of experience and a wonderfully kind disposition to the table.

Sophie does require thoughtful management: she has insulin dysregulation and a history of laminitis, so she needs to stay off pasture and on a low-sugar diet. She remains sound with appropriate management.

For the right home looking for a kid-friendly, lesson, therapeutic, or trail partner, Sophie could be a very special little horse.

🐴 10-year-old Quarter Horse gelding

Looking for an affordable project with a really nice foundation? Button is a 14.1hh smoky black gelding who has plenty going for him—he just needs the right person to bring him back into work.

Originally a driving horse, Button also had 90 days of professional training under saddle. He ground drives, long lines, loads and hauls, stands well for the farrier, saddles and bridles nicely, and has been extensively desensitized. His owner describes him as having virtually no spook on the ground.

It's been a few years since Button has been ridden, so he's looking for an experienced, patient horse person—or someone working with a trainer—to restart him thoughtfully.

On the ground, he's a sweetheart: great manners, loves attention, follows you like a puppy, and no biting or kicking. He's also sound, barefoot with good hard feet, and an easy keeper.
