🇸🇪 We're bringing a little Swedish dog training to Diamond Canine!

We have a special guest joining us all the way from Sweden! Ally, from Lake Fox Gun Dogs, will be teaming up with Joe for a specialty hands-on training class exclusively for our current and past Diamond Canine clients.

Ally works with hunting and retriever dogs in Sweden, and we're excited to bring her experience and perspective into one of our classes.

They'll talk about their different training backgrounds, where their approaches align, and how the same foundations used with working dogs can apply to our everyday dogs.

You'll have the opportunity to work with your dog, learn something new, and see two different training perspectives come together.

🐾 Complimentary for Diamond Canine clients
📍 Diamond Canine Training Center | Willoughby
📅 Friday, October 23rd @ 1pm

We wanted to share a quick update-

Our family experienced a loss last week, so we've been a little behind on returning calls, messages, and scheduling appointments.

I'll be working on catching up with everyone today, and we appreciate your patience.

We will have limited phone availability and appointments through Wednesday, October 21, and plan to return to our regular business schedule on Thursday.

We've also extended our merchandise preorder deadline through tomorrow, October 20, for anyone who still wants to place an order 🐾

Thank you all for your understanding, kindness, and patience. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone giving us a little extra time 🤎

How it started vs. how it’s going 🤎🤎

Gracie started training with Joe back in 2019, and here we are seven years later! She has tagged along with Joe to just about every type of appointment you can imagine, getting exposure to new places, people, dogs, and experiences to continue building on her training.

Even years later, we still get together to make sure she’s staying on track.

This is one of our favorite parts of what we do 🤎Training doesn’t end when your sessions are over.
We love watching our dogs grow up and continuing to be part of their lives.

If you’re invested, so are we 🐾

We’re heading back to hermarketcle this Saturday! 🐾

We love bringing our dogs along, and this is what we train for—being able to enjoy everyday life together, even with new people, other dogs, and plenty going on around us.

It’s a pet-friendly event!
Come shop local and stop by to say hi.

🐾 Diamond Dog of the Week: Cooper! 💎

Meet Cooper! This handsome Golden Retriever has been training with us since he was just a little puppy back in 2018!

Cooper has always had such a great personality, and starting his training at a young age helped him grow into a trustworthy dog that his family can take just about anywhere.

Over the years, Cooper has joined us for countless appointments and events, and he's always been quite the show-off! He and Summer are also the best of friends 🐾

These days, as he's getting a little older, Cooper is much happier spending his time at home with his family.

Cooper has grown right alongside his family as they welcomed three little girls who absolutely adore him. He's been the perfect companion through all the changes and additions to their family over the years.

We love seeing dogs we've worked with since they were puppies grow into such wonderful family dogs. Cooper is a great example of why we put so much emphasis on building a foundation early. He truly is the best dog for his family!

Thanks for being a part of our pack- we love you, Cooper 💛🐾

What do we actually do at group class? 🐾

A lot of practicing how to do absolutely nothing 😂

Other dogs walking by, kids playing, cars passing, unexpected noises, and plenty of distractions.

We’re teaching our dogs that they don’t have to react to everything happening around them. They can simply exist in busy environments, remain calm, and look to their handlers for direction.

This is what training for the real world looks like 🖤🐾

🎅🎄 Sensory Santa is BACK for another year!

Diamond Canine and Heroes helping those with special needs are excited to come together again to bring a special holiday experience to our community!

We know the traditional Santa experience isn't always the best fit for every child. The crowds, noise, long lines, and unfamiliar environments can be overwhelming. That's why we're creating a calmer, more comfortable space where children with autism and other disabilities can enjoy a little holiday magic at their own pace❤️

Families can enjoy one-on-one time with Santa, crafts, therapy dogs and light refreshments.

📅 Sunday, December 13th
⏰ 10 AM | 11 AM | 12 PM
📍 Diamond Canine Dog Services
38845 Mentor Ave., Willoughby
💲 $15 per family

To keep the experience comfortable for everyone, we're limiting each time slot to 8 families.

🎟️ Registration is officially OPEN! Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
