“Premium” is a word. The hay still has to prove it.

Instead of relying on a label, ask what the bale actually looks and feels like, what’s known about the stack, where it came from, and whether it fits the horse you’re feeding.

A better question than “Is this premium?” might be: “Is this right for my horse?”
