Next mare we are gonna talk about it is a mare we’ve quickly grown fond of. MF Paydays Gold bug aka Goldie. I was going to post this mare earlier but the day I was gonna post her we ended up losing her 2 week old stud c**t and we were just sick about it.

Goldie was injured when she was a young mare, she got kicked in the knee and now has a very large arthritic knee. She gets around really good considering but we keep her in so she doesn’t strain it much and to keep her comfortable. Because of this Goldie never got to prove herself. Goldie previously was living the pasture pet life with an elderly lady and hadn’t had any foals before we got her. She was very timid and stand offish when we got her but she really has come around and is one of the nicest and most easy going mares we have.

Goldie is sired by Pay Days Andy (Jets Pay Day x Magnolia Bar daughter). Andy sired 100% money earners from his first foal crop, including stand out MF LilRedRidingHood (ridden by Kay Young) who was 2011 Top 15 average finalist WPRA Pro Elite Futurity & Old Fort Days Futurity, also 2011 top 50 finalist at BFA World Championship Futurity. Andy was the site of the 4th high selling prospect at the 2010 Old Fort Days sale. He has sired multiple other open, Futurity, derby, & rodeo winners. He offered an unlimited outcross potential on daughters of leading barrel racing sires.

Goldie’s dam, Dee Black Bug (Mr Master Bug x Jet Deep daughter). Dee Black Bug had two starts on the track before becoming a broodmare. Dee Black Bugs sire, Mr Master Bug, ran on the track with a Speed index of 110, earned his ROM, earned his superior, with earning of $1.7 million. He was 1982 AQHA champion racing 2 year old c**t & champion 2 year old, 1983 AQHA champion racing 3 year old c**t & champion 3 year old, 1984 AQHA Champion Racing aged stallion & champion aged horse. He won the 1982 All American Futurity, 1983 Rainbow Derby, Pilgrim Handicap, 1984 Rainbow Silver Cup, All American gold cup, he ran 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in 24 of his 25 starts. Some physiological issues kept Mr Master Bug from showing his full potential as a breeding horse, although he did sire 9 stake winners and earned of almost 1 million in official quarter horse races from his limited crop.

Goldie has had 2 foals for us. Last year she had a red dun filly by Simply Famous who was born premature, but is a fighter and beat all odds and is thriving now as a yearling standing in our pen. She had an exceptional dun stud c**t by Simply Famous this year that we were so excited about but he ended up passing away at a day shy of 2 weeks old.

We plan on rebreeding Goldie to Simply Famous this year and next year to Special Design.

Next up on our list of outstanding mares is mare a lot of people know because of her unique style of running. She runs similar to a deer, both front go at the same time. The mare is Wook Out Im Famous aka - Wook Out, Wolfie, or The Wolf. Wolfie got dubbed Wolfie because she’s a pretty Wolfie mare, there’s a whole lot of horse there and you know it when you run her. Wolfie came to us from our good friend Wendy Lenzen in October of 2020 after Nick lost his good gelding Goose, and Nick has ran her ever since between trying to get babies from her.

Wolfie has kind of been passed around up until Wendy. She spent some time with Kassie Mowry, some time with Fallon Taylor, some other owners in between them, & ended up with Jane Melby. Jane and Cayla had gotten the mare to sell for a client of theirs. Both Jane & Cayla ran her some. Wendy is a good friend of Jane and Jane knew Wendy was looking for a competitive mare and told Wendy she needed to take and run her & buy her. Wendy ended up buying her and ran her some and then live with kids happened and Wolf sat for a few years before coming to Nick. Wolfs a proven rodeo money winner, true 1D kinda horse.

Wolfie is by Zippy Zevi Dasher and out of Wooks Good.

Wolfies sire Zippy Zevi Dasher is a son of Dash Ta Fame out of a Zevi daughter. He’s sired multiple rodeo winner, WPRA circuit champions, 1D open, futurity, derby winners, & World champion youth horses. He is a race winner himself and earned his ROM on the track.

Wolfies dam Wooks Good is by Wook Here and out of a Peppy San Badger daughter. Wooks Good was started on the barrel pattern and was injured her futurity year so didn’t get to showcase her full potential.

We have crossed Wolfie with Simply Famous twice and for a stud c**t the first time that we ended up losing. And the second time we ended up with a filly who is going to be 2 in late June that we call Betty. We plan on crossing her with Special Design this year. The two should cross really well.

Our next mare we are gonna showcase is this little red rocket that goes by the name of CzechMeOutImFamous (Girlfriend). Girlfriend was raised by us and had a hard start to life, she lost her mom at 2 weeks old. She was lucky though that a good friend of ours had a mare that had lost her foal and really wanted to be a mom. The cool part of this story, the mare that raised Girlfriend went by the name of Gigi. Gigi is the dam to the new mare (Penelope) that we just picked up a week or so ago that we are partnered with Jaye on. Girlfriend didn’t get started til she was three because she couldn’t keep herself from getting hurt, mainly tangling with fences! 🤦🏼‍♂️ But we did finally get her started and took our time getting her patterned. This mare is the little red mare Nick was seasoning some last summer at some races.
She was 2024 NDQHA Year End Reserve Champion in Amateur Barrels & Amateur Poles. AQHA point earner. Girlfriend is by Simply Famous and out of Czech Out Time (the same dam as Denali’s mom).

Girlfriend’s sire Simply Famous (Baxter) is our stud and everyone that knows us knows him. But a little about him. Baxter has proven himself as a competitor and is a proven sire of multiple standouts from a very small foal crop. Some of Baxter’s accomplishments are earning his performance ROM in barrel racing & pole bending, an amateur ROM in barrel racing, pole bending, & stake race, proven 1D competitor in Futurities, Derby’s, & Open, 5th in VGBRA Futurity, 8th in CBHI Futurity average, 5th in Copper Spring Ranch Futurity, 2023 AQHA Region 2 Amatuer Stake Race Champion, 2023 Region 2 Amatuer Barrel Racing Champion, 2023 Region 2 Amatuer Pole Bending Champion, 2023 Region 2 Reserve Barrel Racing Champion, 2024 AQHA World Show Qualifier in Sr Barrel Racing level 2 & 3, & Sr Pole Bending level 2 & 3, 2024 AQHA World Show Qualifier in Amateur Barrel racing level 2&3, Amateur Pole Bending level 2&3, & Amateur Stake Race level 2&3, 2024 AQHA 1st Place High Point Barrel Racing Stallion, 2024 AQHA 1st Place High Point Pole Bending Stallion, 2025 AQHA World Show Qualifier in Barrel racing & Pole Bending, along with multiple other accomplishments.

Girlfriends dam, Czech Out time, is a race winning daughter of Corona Czech and out of a Special Effort daughter. Czech Out Time herself ran on the race track with a speed index of 86, she went on to start her Futurity career and was sidelined due to suspensory injury. Czech Out Times sire, Corona Czech, ran a speed index of 93, earned his ROM, and graded stakes placed. He is the sire to multiple track winners and multiple ROM earners. He is a 3/4 brother to Corona Cartel, and full brother to Valient Hero, Corona Cash, & Mighty Corona.
Czech Out Times dam, Timed Effort, was a stakes placed daughter of Special Effort.

We are so excited to cross this mare on ND Bar Quarter Horses up and coming stud TS French Jetolena this year. We feel like this cross is going to be an exceptional one! And next year we plan on crossing her on Special Design.

This next mare has some special ties to Nick. We are gonna talk about PWC Gitn Fly Girl (Grace). Grace is by Git N Gone and out of Shani’s Top Baby. This mare is a mare we’ve raised. She was born the same year as the previous mare we talked about, PWC Knight Chick. When the two were born I was big into watching Grace & Frankie and that’s how those two got their names. And they both fit those two personalities. 😂

Grace has been on the back burner just getting to grow up a little. She’s mainly been ranch rode and is being sent off to the trainer to start learning breakaway roping and some heeling. When she gets back we will start on getting her patterned.

Graces sire GitNGone (GitN) is a son of Strawfly Special out of a Meter Me Gone mare. GitN ran out on the track with a SI of 86 earning his ROM. GitN was previously owned by Guy Weimer and his mom. At the same time Guy owned Panther Mountain so unfortunately for GitN he was put on the back burner and didn’t get to bred very many mares. When I picked him up we only bred a couple mares to him before he passed away from founder related issues.

Grace’s dam, Shanis Top Baby (Red), is sired by Top Flys Jack and out of an Osage Handy daughter. Red was never shown herself, but she is a producer. She has multiple foals that have gone on to be pro breakaway horses and have won money at pro rodeos. We crossed Red with Chicos Royal King, Make It A Bud Light, Simply Famous, & GitNGone and all of her foals were stand outs!

The cool part is Shanis Top Baby (Red) had an older half sister, her name was Sugar Jet Frosty (Frosty). Frosty was Nicks first horse he ever owned, given to him by his uncle Bob. Frosty was just a ranch horse nothing special, & that was before Nick had been introduced to the rodeo world. The reason Red ended up with Nick was because he loved that bloodline of horses and wanted another one. Kendel Hofer used to own Red and knew how much he loved that line and gave her to him.

Grace won’t have a foal for a couple years but we really can’t wait to cross her on Simply Famous and also on Special Design. We think either of these crosses should make exceptional all around, barrel racing, or roping prospects.

Our next mare we are gonna brag on is FL Irish Rose (Rose). Rose is a new mare here for us, she just came a few weeks ago. Rose is owned by Maria Schillinger and we are honored to partner with her on this mare.

Rose is a daughter of Irish pay and out of a CM Nonstop Nitro daughter. Rose was patterned and was starting to be seasoned until she ended up getting hurt. Rose did earn herself the2023 Gridiron 2D reserve pole bending champion. Now she gets to be a momma for some great babies I’m sure of it!

Roses sire Irish Pay is a million dollar sire of many stand out barrel and rope horses. He’s a son of Paddys Irish Whiskey and out of a Preferred Pay daughter.

Rose’s dam, FL Nonstop Rosie, is by CM Nonstop Nitro. FL Nonstop Rosie was ran at futurity’s with Samantha Flannery. FL Nonstop Rosie was the Kohr Futurity TC100 Incentive reserve champion. CM Nonstop Nitro is a sire of multiple Futurity round winners, & American qualifiers.

We are pretty excited to cross this mare with Simply Famous this year. And will be crossing her on Special Design in the future.

The mare we are gonna talk about next is a special mare. PWC Knight Chick (Frankie) is a mare we’ve raised. Frankie never got to showcase her skills as she was injured young. Frankie is special because she is out of a mare that came from Rocky McCaffree’s breeding program. Nick used to spend summers at Rocky’s ranch learning all about horses and ranching growing up. Frankie’s dam Makoshika Sweetcheeks is by Shutout. Shutout was one of Rocky’s best studs he ever owned. He was a homozygous paint. He ran on the race track in paint racing and had a speed index of 93 earning his ROM.
Makoshika Sweetcheeks is out of Thank You Fancy, a daughter of Thank You Quaker (TB), who was WA state Stakes Record holder for a period of time and also was one of Rocky’s family’s studs they had owned.

Frankie’s sire, Mr Judy Two, is an own son of Judys Lineage and out of a Texas Hero mare. Mr Judy Two was a homozygous tobiano and ran out on the race track. Anyone who knows paint racing or paint barrel racing knows Judys Lineage (SI 95) & Texas Hero (SI 101) were both outstanding race horses and went on to produce multiple winners.

As you can tell Frankie is all racing on top and bottom, and this mare in the pasture can fly. She’ll leave everyone in the dust when she wants to!

We have gotten two foals from this young mare so far and both have been exceptional!! First is a stud c**t by Simply Famous & the second one a filly by Simply Famous. The stud c**t sold to a friend in MT and they absolutely love him! The yearling filly we kept back and plan on getting her started next year and get her going for her futurity year. Frankie ended up being open for this year and we are getting her bred early for an early foal next spring by Special Design. Pretty excited to see that cross!!

This next mare is one of Nicks all time favorite mares. Hi N Dry (Royal) is a daughter of Royal Shake Em and out of a TB mare Its A Dry Heat by Dixieland Heat.

Royal ran on the track with a speed index of 96 earning her ROM, 3 time winner, stakes placed, and an LTE of $37k+. Royal has 4 foals to date, a 10 year old bay stallion by Texas Icon (unraced), an 8 year old gray mare by Jess Being Valiant (LTE $23k+, ROM earner, SI of 87) this mare is owned by Kasey Nichols Etbauer, a 7 year old bay stud c**t by Conn Creek that I can’t seem to find any information on, & a 3 year old gray filly by Aint Seen Nothin Yet owned by Kaitlyn Whitlock.

Royals sire is the infamous Royal Shake Em. Royal Shake Em is very well known in the barrel racing/rodeo world. He ran on the track with a speed index of 104, earned his ROM, earned his Superior Race Horse title in 1997, and won over $257k+, sire of 615 ROM earners, 104 stakes offspring with earning over $13 million, sire of multiple race, barrel, & roping winners, countless foals across all disciplines with winnings of $13 million, maternal grand sire to Hailey Kinsey’s famous Sister (DM Sissy Hayday).

Royals dam, Its A Dry Heat, is a dam to 3 stakes winners all black type. Her sire Dixieland Heat was a sire to 11 stakes horse including the all time leading filly/mare by number of North American stakes wins (25) champion Xtra Heat (LTE $2.3 million+).

We are expecting a Simply Famous baby from this mare in May and are looking forward to breeding her to Special Design this year!

Next mare to be showcased is QT Red Dee To Streke (QT). QT was started & competed in reining & cutting. She went on to be a kids play day/omoksee horse for quite awhile before having foals by Jet Streakin, & Bogus. Her filly by Jet Streakin is running her futurity year this year with Kristi Stalls. QT has had one foal for us by Simply Famous who is a 2 year old this spring. He is for sale and will be started this spring if he doesn’t sell before. We are expecting a Simply Famous baby from her any day now.

QT is sired by Kings Dominoe Man, unshown and I haven’t been able to find much information on him.

QT’s dam is sired by QT Poco Streke. QT Poco Streke was an APHA World Championship reserve reining stakes, NRHA Bronze Trophy, Winner of the world wide Paint Horse congress, High Point OCAP horse (All thru NRHA competition), APHA Hall Of Fame inductee, 2 time NRHA open champion, 2 time NRHA Limited Open Champion, AQHA ROM, APHA ROM, sire of 70 ROM winners, 14 superior winners, 3 world champions, & leading APHA reining sire for 5 consecutive years.

This next year we plan on leaving QT open and hopefully using her as a kids horse for our nephews and niece to learn on.

Next mare we are going to highlight is a mare by the name of She A Heater (Holly). Holly is a daughter of Hollywood Heat out of an Iron Rebel daughter. Holly was never started or shown that we know of, no fault of hers. She lived as a pasture pet for an elderly lady from the time she was three until we got her in 2023, never raised any babies or got the chance to showcase herself. Since we have got her she had a knock out black filly for us in 2025 by Simply Famous. And this year she had a cute dun filly by Simply Famous. We plan on crossing her with Special Design this year to see how that cross works for us. We were excited to add this mare to cross on our boys as she brings something different to our program. We feel like the cross is going to be the perfect cross of run & cow/rope/show.

Hollys sire Hollywood Heat is a son of Hollywood Dun It. Some of his accomplishments are as follows: AQHA performance champion, earned 345 performance points, earned his superior in calf roping, his superior in heading, his superior in heeling, he was a Super Horse contender, 2001 AQHA world show qualifier in 4 events, NRHA, NRHA Open Futurity, & NRCHA money winner, 3 time world champion top 10, 2 time finalist, & 9 times qualifier, sire of halter point earners, halter & performance ROM earners, Superior Performance earners, World Champions, Reserve World Champions, & High Point earners.

Hollys dam was an unshown daughter of Iron Rebel who is by Rebel Cause. Iron Rebel was an AQHA Halter ROM earner, AQHA performance ROM earner, AQHA World Champion, AQHA Superior in Western Pleasure, ran on the track with a speed index of 75, sired multiple AQHA Halter & Performance ROM earners, Superior Perfomance earners, AQHA World Champions, AQHA Reserve World Champions, and was Equi-Stats leading pleasure sire from 1973 to 1994.

This mare has been such a great addition to our broodmare herd. She has the sweetest disposition and passes this along to her foals.

First mare we are going to highlight is our PC Frenchmans Hayday (Dinero) daughter CzechMeOutImaHayGirl (Denali). Denali was started late and didn’t get to futurity. Nick did run her for about a year and a half before deciding to get some foals from her. She was consistently placing in the 1D-2D before taking her short break to be a momma.

Dinero himself has a LTE of over $400k, top 10 barrel racing sire, multiple NFR qualifier himself, sire to multiple NFR qualifiers, world champions, & Futurity winners, and is a $10 million dollar sire with progeny like MP Meter My Hay (Stingray), DM Sissy Hayday (Sister), & KG Just money (just ran the fastest time at Houston Pro Rodeo) just to name a few.

Denali is out of Czech Out Time, a race winning daughter of Corona Czech and out of a Special Effort daughter. Czech Out Time herself ran on the race track with a speed index of 86, she went on to start her Futurity career and was sidelined due to suspensory injury. Czech Out Times sire, Corona Czech, ran a speed index of 93, earned his ROM, and graded stakes placed. He is the sire to multiple track winners and multiple ROM earners. We have crossed Denali on Simply Famous twice and this last year we crossed her on Special Design. She has gave 3 outstanding foals. The oldest is with Ashley Hampa in Montana and is a two year old. Ashley has big plans for him! The yearling out of Simply Famous we kept back for ourselves, and the new born filly out of Special Design, Jarred plans on keeping back as well. This year we plan on giving her the year off from breeding and Nick plans on running her at races this summer again.
