Rip sweet Jazzy from Bubbles and The Boys +Jazzy we will miss you soldier your job on earth is done we will take it from here dissmisseddddddddddd!!!!
Mummy here. I suppose I should have said this morning, but I have had a difficult time putting this in writing; Jazzy's vet visit tomorrow is a quality of life visit (which is why I wanted her regular vet there) Jazzy's vision is mostly gone. She has also lost quite a bit of her hearing. On top of that, she has been struggling with dementia for a few years now. Anyone who has dealt with doggie dementia (or the human kind) knows there are good days, and bad days. Sometimes it creeps up incrementally, other times it gallops. This weekend, it galloped. I have slowly put up more and more barricades to keep her out of corners, out from under tables, and, as of a week ago, out from between the wall and the washer. Last night she didn't want her dinner (to me it seemed like she couldn't figure it out), and this morning she wouldn't eat breakfast. And she has been thinking she's stuck while standing in the middle of the room. I am not ready to let her go, but I will listen to what the vet thinks is in her best interest (if there is any medicine, or anything else to help I will try it, but I will seriously listen to the vet's advice since he knows her).
I apologize for giving you all this at once, I suppose in the back of my mind I thought if I didn't write it down, it wasn't actually happening
