Bills win! ❤️ So, we have to formally introduce the newest member of the ‘team’ here at PMRT. Sure to steal hearts just like that guy in Buffalo we all love 😉

Meet Josh Allen — QB #1, but make it pint-sized! 💙

This little quarterback may be under 10 pounds, but he has a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! At about 1–2 years old, Josh is ready to take the field and steal your heart. Josh is a total people pup who loves being part of the action. He’s super friendly, social, and happiest when he’s right by his people’s side. In fact, he’ll happily follow you around the house all day — consider him your newest four-legged teammate! Josh is being fostered in the Rochester NY area.

Today, we want to express our deepest gratitude to Rush Inter Pet Cemetery, Crematory & Funeral Home for the compassion, dignity, and beauty they provide to our foster dogs when it is time to say goodbye.

So many of the dogs who come into Puppy Mill Rescue Team have never known the kindness they deserved. Their lives may have begun in neglect, exploitation, or unimaginable hardship. And while not every rescue dog gets to find their happily-ever-after, we make them a promise when they enter our care: they will know love, comfort, safety, and comprehensive medical care for the rest of their lives.

That promise does not end when their journey comes to an end.

Rush Inter Pet has always given our beloved animals a beautiful and dignified place to rest. They have treated not only our dogs, but our rescue family, with extraordinary compassion and understanding.

Their kindness goes beyond customer service. Their generous in-kind donations have helped make it possible for us to continue saving dogs, caring for them, and giving them the lives they should have always known.

For the dogs who never found their forever home, we are grateful that they found us.

And we are grateful that, through Rush Inter Pet, we can give them one final gift: a beautiful, peaceful, dignified resting place, surrounded by the love they finally knew.

Thank you, Rush Inter Pet Inc., for standing beside us and helping us keep our promise to every dog — from the moment they are rescued until the very end. ❤️🐾

With heartfelt gratitude,

Meet Luna 🤍 This gentle 5-year-old poodle (10 lbs) is healing from a hard past and blossoming more every day. She's shy at first but melts for a soft voice and gentle pets. She loves snuggling on the couch and playing with her doggie foster siblings.

Luna is looking for a patient adopter who can offer calm, steady love while she learns to trust her new world. A resident dog and fenced yard would help her thrive, but what she needs most is time and kindness.

Could you be Luna's soft place to land? 🐾 Apply to meet Luna through the adoption link below:

Meet Mama Kara! 💛

Mama Kara is a sweet shepherd mix who is ready to trade her mama duties for a life of being someone’s beloved best girl. She’s a young girl, only around 2 years old, and came into rescue with a litter hence the name ‘mama’. She’s been wonderful with other dogs, is good with young children, and gets along with cats — although she will occasionally remind the resident kitty that a good game of chase is always an option.
Mama Kara is loyal, easy-going, and you melt in her loving gaze as she enjoys getting pet. She is being fostered in Gerry NY and will easily fit into most homes.

Meet Evie! A 7 month old charming Mastiff/ Boxer mix who loves her people and wants nothing more than to be by your side, or in your lap. Loyal, affectionate, and full of love, she's the kind of dog who quickly becomes your very best friend.

Evie is eager to please and takes direction from her humans ( and other confident dogs). She is a fast learner and is ready to continue her education through training and enrichment.

Like any young pup, Evie is still learning the ropes. She’s working hard on both crate training and potty training. She'll do best with a family that can give her regular potty breaks, plenty of time outside the crate, exercise, and obedience training. Another dog of similar age/energy would be the best fit, she can be a little pushy with
more submissive doggie friends.

We anticipate her to be the perfect sized companion as she grows ( she’s currently 35lb at 7 months).

Evie is fully vetted and ready to find a forever family. Apply today and come meet your new best friend!

👅🐾 TONGUE OUT TUESDAY IS ALL ABOUT TWYLA! 🐾👅

Just look at that face! 😍 Twyla is a one-year-old purebred Boxer who is proof that sometimes, even after a tough beginning, a dog can come out the other side ready to embrace every bit of happiness life has to offer. ❤️

Twyla was rescued from a hoarding situation, but you’d never know it by the way she approaches life. This girl is ready for EVERYTHING! ☀️🐾 She’s a loyal friend, an adventure buddy, and truly has a heart of gold — just like the Boxer breed we love so much. 🥰

Now, Twyla is ready for the next chapter: a forever home of her very own. 🏡❤️

🐶 Twyla absolutely loves the company of another dog and would be happiest having a canine friend to share life with. While another dog isn’t a requirement, it is a strong suggestion for this sweet girl.

📍 Twyla is being fostered in the Buffalo, NY area.

She’s waited long enough. Now she’s ready to be someone’s best friend, adventure buddy, couch companion, and forever girl. ❤️

Meet Cinder! ❤️

At around 6 months old, Cinder has already overcome more than any puppy should. Found abandoned in Texas with her littermates.. she was actually the puppy to go to the road and flag down help with a wagging tail 😭 Yet, she is the last of her litter to be chosen, leaving us wondering why. Is it because she is a black puppy?

Cinder is the kind of puppy who has a way of making people smile. She is affectionate, gentle, and full of the joyful puppy spirit that makes every day a little brighter. Her ability to steal hearts is undeniable - which makes sense given her DNA results which sprinkle quite a few very lovable breeds in there (Pittie, Shepherd, Lab, Boxer, Husky). This special girl is sure to bring happiness, laughter, and plenty of puppy snuggles to the lucky family who welcomes her home. She just needs someone to choose her 🙏
