Hello! I’m big boy Bruno! I am a super sweet & cuddly little boy. I love walks and to play around in the yard. My squeaky toys keep me very busy though too. I am doing well on the leash & would really like if you give me sniff breaks. I will chase after anything including leaves blowing around in the wind and most definitely squirrels 🤣. I do get tired though and will nap at my foster mom’s feet while she works. I’m a good boy and know “sit” and “stay” so far but I need to work on “down.” I just get so excited to see you I can’t contain myself ☺️ .
I’m potty trained and enjoy playing with other dogs but also love being the center of attention. My foster mom has never seen me around cats so she isn’t sure yet how I would do.
I can sometimes be timid of new people & scared of loud noises but once I warm up I am a true sweetheart.

I am looking for my life long best friend so I hope you are too. 💙

This little nugget is a local owner surrender. His brother was surrendered to us last year, and his owner hoped they could eventually be reunited someday. 💛

Now, that dream may actually come true because his brother’s family is interested in adopting Gucci, too! ✨

It’s National Rescue Dog Day, and what better way to celebrate than by adopting your very own rescue pup 💙

We think Ragnar would be a pretty amazing dog to consider, because he perfectly represents what rescue is all about.

Ragnar came to us from Alabama after being surrendered by his owner. When he arrived, we discovered he had a serious injury to his front leg that ultimately led to an amputation.

Through every challenge he’s faced, Ragnar has remained nothing but loving, resilient, and grateful. This sweet 7 year old boy is proof that rescue dogs never stop loving, no matter what they’ve been through.

Now, all he wants is a family to finally call his own.

Ragnar loves naps, cuddles, exploring the outdoors, and snacks of course. He’s food motivated, dog friendly, and impossibly handsome. Three legs certainly doesn’t slow this guy down one bit!

So who’s ready to make National Rescue Dog Day truly mean something for a dog still waiting for his happy ending? 🐾

‼️HELP NEEDED‼️

Literal PUPPIES are at risk of euthanasia if we don’t find temporary or permanent homes for them here in Buffalo! 🙏🏻 Our southern partners are forced to euthanasia dogs simply to make space in their shelters. We have a transport planned for this Sunday, 5/24.

With our foster-to-adopt program this is a great way to find the perfect fit for your family! It is basically a free trial run (we supply the food) and you get to evaluate the dog for 7 days in your home before you decide to adopt , or foster the dog until we find an adopter if it’s not the perfect fit.

Hi everyone, Buddy here — but foster mom calls me Buddy Love 💘 because apparently I’m the full package: charm, comedy, and chaos in one handsome hound.

I’m a local surrender, born and raised right here in your hometown 🏡 which means I already know all the best sniff‑spots. I’m also what you might call… vocally talented 🎤🐕. If you’ve ever wished your dog could talk, well — buckle up. I’ve got opinions, commentary, and the occasional dramatic speech.

I’m a toy fanatic 🧸, a walk enthusiast 🚶‍♂️🐾, and a car‑ride superfan 🚗💨. I play great with my foster siblings, and I’m crate trained, potty trained, and always ready for adventure. I haven’t met any cats yet 🐱❓ but mom says we can absolutely check if needed.
