🎉 Happy 56th "Birthday", Georgetown Animal Clinic! 🎉
Today we celebrate 56 wonderful years of Georgetown Animal Clinic and the people who have made it so special.
Georgetown Animal Clinic's roots go back to June 1970. In June of 1970, Richard Nixon was President, The Beatles had just released Let It Be, and Americans were watching the first years of the Apollo moon program unfold. Here in Williamsville, a small animal clinic was beginning a journey that would touch the lives of generations of pets and their families. At the time, Dr. Scott was just one year old, unaware that one day he would carry on the clinic's legacy and help guide it into the future.
Dr. Newman's mother was the clinic's first receptionist, welcoming clients with a friendly smile and helping build the family atmosphere that still exists today. Years later, Colleen Forsythe would become our first Licensed Veterinary Technician, helping to establish the high standard of care that continues at Georgetown Animal Clinic.
We celebrate the family members who have worked here over the years, as well as the team members who have become family. We are grateful for every employee, client, and pet who has been part of our story.
Thank you for trusting us with your beloved companions for more than five decades and for supporting us through the last 26 years.
Happy Birthday, Georgetown Animal Clinic! Here's to many more years of caring, compassion, and community. ❤️🐾
