🐾 BEHIND EVERY HEALTHY PET IS A VETERINARY TEAM THAT CARES. ❤️

What many people don't see is the emotional toll that comes with working in veterinary medicine.

Our veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff dedicate their days to caring for animals and the people who love them.

But behind the scenes, they also face heartbreaking situations, difficult decisions, emotional exhaustion, and the pressure of trying to help every pet, even when circumstances make that impossible.

They celebrate your pet's recovery, comfort you through devastating losses, and carry the weight of those difficult moments long after the workday ends.

Veterinary professionals experience significant levels of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Yet so much of what they do goes unseen.

During National Veterinary Technician Week, we want to recognize not only the incredible work our veterinary technicians do, but also the emotional strength and compassion they bring to their profession every single day.

💙 A little kindness, patience, and appreciation can mean more than you know.

Because the people who spend their lives caring for our pets deserve care and compassion, too.

🐾 Please be kind to your veterinary team. They're human, too. ❤️

🐾💙 NATIONAL VETERINARY TECHNICIAN WEEK 💙🐾

National Veterinary Technician Week, established in 1993, was one of the first times a national spotlight was focused on this remarkable profession.

Veterinary technicians are crucial to the smooth operation of our hospital. From client communication and critical procedures to patient care and essential support for our veterinarians, their knowledge and skills touch nearly every aspect of what we do.

Every day, we are in awe as we watch our Licensed Veterinary Technicians organize, plan, problem-solve, and provide exceptional care for their patients. Their unique role requires education, medical expertise, technical skill, and extensive training—but it also requires something that can’t be taught in a classroom: the ability to be a calm, compassionate, and reassuring advocate for an animal when they need it most.

This week, we proudly recognize and thank our wonderful veterinary technicians:

🩷 Mary C.
🤎 Chris C.
💜 Kim D.
💙 Hillary D.
🩶 Mary N.
💚 Kristin P.
🧡 Jenna P.
💛 Katelyn S.
❤️ Jess W.
🩵 Amy W.

Thank you for your skill, dedication, compassion, and everything you do for our patients, clients, veterinarians, and each other.

We appreciate you this week—and every week! 💙🐾
