When the sneezing just won’t quit… sometimes you have to look a little deeper. 👀

Larry, a 10-month-old Pomeranian, presented with persistent upper-respiratory symptoms, including coughing and frequent sneezing. After trying multiple medications and performing diagnostics to determine the cause, we still hadn’t found the answer.

Today, we were able to safely sedate Larry and examine his sinus cavity without causing him any discomfort — and we found our culprit!

Any guesses what Dr. Twehues pulled from Larry’s nose?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DR. TWEHUES! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating the man who can diagnose a dog, wrangle a cat, answer approximately 47 questions at once, and somehow survive another day with the rest of us.

We’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of our GCVC family. Thank you for all the years of hard work, dedication, compassion….and for putting up with our shenanigans. 😉

We were so honored to take part in the city's Window Decorating Competition!

Our windows were hand-painted by one of our employees- Heather Lilly Bowling- with lots of time, care, and gratitude as a small way to honor the men and women who have served—and continue to serve—our country.

We are truly grateful for the opportunity to participate and be part of something that celebrates the sacrifices and service of our veterans. 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger when others were running away.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, medical personnel, and the countless ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.

And as a veterinary family, we also remember the brave search-and-rescue dogs who worked tirelessly alongside their handlers, searching through the rubble and offering comfort during one of our nation’s darkest days.

25 years later, we remember.
We honor.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
