We had our 1st foal born in the new Covered Arena barn. He belongs to one of my boarders, Dr Ainsley. It was amazing to watch her mare April give birth to such a beautiful baby boy. I am so glad she let me be a part of it. Welcome to the Bundy Stables family. Waiting for her to come up with a name for him.

Peppy is still hanging in there. We feel like the baby moved into the birthing position last night. You could see it moving on the camera. Ashley cleaned her one last time. She tried wrapping her tail twice and both times Peppy got it out so Ashley just braided it to help keep it out of the way. We have her stall ready and really thinking tonight is the night she is going to have it. She is waxing now and very restless. We will keep everyone posted and will post pictures once the baby is here!

We have officially started putting up the covered arena. Our plan is to add about 30 stalls off the side of the arena. Let me know if anyone would be interested in boarding in there once it’s completed. They said it should only take about a month to get the arena done and then we will start working on the stalls. The plan is to build a wall to separate the stalls so it’s not open to the arena.

All the horses were inside during the ice and cold weather that we got. They enjoyed having this long isle way to walk up and down and get a little exercise while being locked in for 5 days. They handled it like champs.
