Hello! Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I want to share something I read recently that I wouldn't have thought about. Yes, I have a corgi. Hes low to the ground. I have floor fans for him because he runs hot. The article basically was about dogs having higher body temps then humans. The lady left her AC on because it was a hot day. She came home to an overheated dog that passed away. It wasn't because she didn't try to keep her dog cooled off. Its because the AC doesn't reach the floor to cool it off. Yes, the article was trying to sell a cooling mat. If your dog would use one great! Mine moves around to much. I'd have to move it with him. If he'd even use it??
Moral of the story. Your dog doesn't seem to be getting comfortable in tbe heat? They are looking for cool spots to cool down on. Get them cooler air at their level. Just not at your level thinking they feel it too.
And watch those paws on hot surfaces! Gotta keep our babies safe.
