Spring is here! With that means everyone wants to get in ASAP for their dog’s spring cuts as mud seems to be just a little easier to manage with shorter coats lol!
All my snow bird clients are coming back for summer too, so right now I’m looking at the first week in May as my soonest openings. Please call me ASAP to get in if you are thinking you’ll need a cut anytime in the next few weeks. 😊

I’m also highly recommending booking your next appointment as well as I’m going to be having my baby probably the first week in July. I’m not sure how close to that date I’ll be able to continue grooming, but the mid June appointments are going fast so please let me know if you want to get on the books, everything will be played by ear at that point but I’ll keep everyone in the loop as long as you have appointments coming up! 😊

I’m also no longer taking new clients for the time being. Want to put my regulars first!!!

As always I thank you all for the support and forgiveness you have shown me these last few months as I navigate a world that’s soooo new to me! You guys are the literal best!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’ll try and keep everyone as up to date as possible on what’s going on over the next 12 weeks till this little baby comes! Hi everyone!

I’ve been very quiet on social media here lately, so much has been going on I can’t quite keep up! Holidays are always crazy, but this year has definitely proved to be harder than most!

For those of you (most of you) that do not know, I am pregnant with my first child! I know, hard to believe!!! It’s true though lol! And not only have I been trying to keep up with the doctor appointments for that, but I’ve been battling what we believe, but cannot prove, is a kidney stone. Due to the pregnancy I cannot have a CT scan, and the ultrasound shows some kind of fluid blockage in the kidney that has not changed in over a month. I’ve now had 4 ‘attacks’ where the stone hurts so bad, two landed me in the ER, the other two I’ve gotten through on my own.

Whatever it is, is not gone, and there isn’t much we can do about it. I apologize to everyone in advance, as I may have to cancel appointments last minute if the stone acts up, or they need me to come in for an appointment related to the pregnancy. Everything seems to be very last minute and NOT when I’m off and available of course!!!

Please also be patient with me with returning calls and texts, some days I’m struggling more than others, some days I’m down and out with the stone… and standing all day especially these long rough days during the Christmas rush, is proving very difficult. I will return all texts as soon as humanly possible I promise!! I’m doing my very best, but this is all absolutely nothing I’m familiar with, and trying to navigate it all is proving more than I can take somedays😅😅😅😅.

But, I appreciate each and every one of you all, and thank you so much for always being the best clients on earth! I’m so lucky to have you all and I hope you all have the best holidays ever!!!

Hi everyone. I know I’ve got a lot of messages to return from the last couple days. I need everyone to be patient with me, as my sweet dog Rain has been at Cornell since yesterday and MIGHT get to come home tomorrow. We are not sure of anything yet. I’ve had to cancel lots of dogs for this weekend and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to resume grooming in order to get those clients back in first, then I’ll be able to get to booking everyone else. I’m so sorry for the holdup, trust me I’d much rather be making money than spending it like I have it! 😅

I promise I’ll be in touch with everyone as soon as humanly possible!

Any prayers or good vibes anyone wants to send Rain’s way would be highly appreciated. I’m an absolute mess and I can’t think straight at this point! My dogs are my life as most of you guys know!! 😣😣😣

Welcome Forrest 2.0!
This pup belongs to my official, longest client ever! This is the third golden I’ve gotten the joy of grooming for her.
20 years ago, when I was JUST starting out as a bather, and didn’t even know how to do golden foot trims, the first Forrest came in as a little puppy and I washed, dried, and brushed him out… someone else did the grooming for me. Every 6 weeks after that I groomed him fully, for the rest of his life. There was a little beak aster he passed, till they got Brook. Again, started him as a puppy and every 6 weeks the rest of his life. At his last grooming I found two large lumps, that turned out to be lymphoma. It was a sad day for sure, as he seemed perfectly normal, but the diagnosis and downfall was so quick. It’s been a little while again, but now we start with Forrest 2.0, and the cycle continues! 🥰

Welcome Winston! He belongs to a long time client of mine, one of which I cannot even count how many dogs I’ve groomed of hers! lol! This is one of the two newest puppies and he was TINY, but had the biggest personality!
He was a bit chopped up, and matted so I saved what I could and gave him a little style with what was left lol! Hopefully it’ll look better next time, but he did very good for his first professional groom, considering the clipper was bigger than he was! 😅

Like my dogs, Rosie’s grooming gets pushed till she’s desperate lol! First picture is after the bath and blow out. She was a tad fluffy this time🤣. But all good now!
