Staff Spotlight:

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of the WAH team, Callie! 💙

Callie has been a licensed veterinary technician for a little over four years, but her love for animals began long before entering the veterinary profession. She was born and raised in Traverse City and is so glad to now have the opportunity to work in the community she grew up in! Callie has a special interest in animal behavior and loves utilizing Fear Free techniques to help make veterinary visits as comfortable and low-stress as possible for her patients. When she’s not at the hospital, you can usually find her running, baking, or spending time with her husband and daughter, along with her four cats and two dogs! 🐾

We’re so excited to have Callie as part of the WAH team and can’t wait for you and your pets to get to know her!

That’s a wrap! Entries for our 2026 Photo Contest are officially closed! 🎉

A HUGE thank you to everyone who sent in photos of their adorable pets. We’ve received so many amazing submissions, and now comes the hard part… choosing the winners!

Our team will be reviewing all of the submissions and selecting our top photos. We’ll announce the winners once we’ve made our decisions!
