Tank is a 5 year old German Shepherd. He is a good boy who knows commands. He loves to play fetch, but prefers to not drop the ball in his mouth until you have already raised up the second ball in your hand. He is a solid boy who enjoys leaning back on your legs for a good chest scratch. He tried to be friends with the office cat but she wasn't feeling it, so he now avoids her.

Mica is a sweet 1 year old hound mix with a ton of smiles and hilarious expressions. She is very shy and judging off her skinny frame and marks around her neck, she has not had it easy. She is looking for someone patient, who understands she needs you to move slow.

She has never growled or snapped but will dodge any quick movements. She has a whole body wiggle and twist when she is excited and has been enjoying standing belly rubs. She LOVES water and will attempt to stand in any size object that has water in it. Literally, any size object.

If you are you looking for a dog that will love you completely and are okay moving slow to earn her loyalty, please let us know!

Dunn is a 5 MONTH old catahoula mix. His eyes make him look full of attitude (in pictures) but he really is a sweet boy. He loves head scratches and tries to hide himself between your legs. He is going to be a big dog and is a bit shut down at the shelter, so he is very calm and quiet right now.

Another playgroup for some of our new dogs!

Creamy and bacon are attention seekers- who love to be petted and playing in water. They love to wrestle each other but are gentle with the others who are still adjusting.

Bon Jovi and Janis are still unsure about their new living situation. Each one tries to muster the courage for pets but dodge any outreached hands. Janis will sneak in a kiss on your hand now and again. Both wag their tails and follow you around but always just out of reach.

They all come from the same place and are used to being outside full time. If you have the room and the ability to give them time to adjust, please let us know!

They are all sweet and gentle but definitely shut down in their new environment. If you can provide full time outside access, a contained area they can run, and/or critters that need protecting- please reach out.

Our dogs got to go out in a play group today!

Dingo and Mama Maggie took turns dunking themselves in the water.

Meeko and Bella have mastered flying bug catching with Bella just narrowly beating Meeko.

Freya decided she wasn't in the mood for any shenanigans and went for a walk instead.

Each of these dogs have unique personalities and are waiting for you to come and take them to their forever home.
