Ever wonder what a "hazer" has to do with dogs? A "hazer" is a horse rider who assists in rodeo bulldogging by riding on the opposite side of the steer as the competing cowboy to keep the steer running in a straight path. These dogs may not rodeo, although they would love to bring your herd in or move them as you like, they also would love to do agility, or nose work, or bring your herd in, or follow you hiking or horse riding, or herd your children and have a bed by the fire.
