I have heard that Tipsy was started under saddle and has been ridden. But to what extent I have no idea, and that was atleast 5+ years ago. Well today I decided that Tipsy was no longer going to be just hay burner and a mama. You could tell she was rusty when moving around the round pen. But she didn't hump up so thats a plus. I am just not to sure on her steering capabilities and that is pretty darn important 😅. So I think we will have atleast 1 driving session before I swing a leg over her. All in all she did good, but I do think she would much rather be a hay burner then a contributing member of the broke/rideable horses club. All I can say is learn to love it Tipsy.

Finally put the only tree on the property to good use 😅 Nothing beats a natural patience pole.

Moose spent his last night with his mama and is officially a weanling today. His mama is stalled beside him for now since he doesn't have any little buddies. So far he is handling it pretty well. I will give him a day or two to settle into the new routine and then Moose will go back to school.

Moose is almost 3 months old. I just can't get over how stunning of a mule he is.

Here is a opportunity that DOES Not come around everyday on a VERY special mare. Valiant Angel Chateau aka Kansas is a 2015 APHA registered amber ch*****ne tobiano mare. She color tests Ee,Aa,Tt,nCh and is 5 panel and IMM NEG. This is a big stout mare, standing at 15.2. Honestly there is not one bad thing that can be said about Kansas. This is the kindest mare. She is a excellent mother and has passed her kind, willing demeanor onto all 3 of her foals. All have been easy to start just like their mama. Kansas was started as a 4yr old and has had minimal riding over the years. She has been hauled and ridden in the pines, crossed country in the desert and been ridden around rural neighborhoods. She is not fancy broke, she has spent the majority of her time on the back burner getting pulled out from time to time to go trail ride, but she is honest. She is quiet on the trail even when she is alone. She rides in a bosal. She can sit for over a year, get pulled out, spend 15 minutes in the round pen and then go down the trail. She has been shot off of, crossed washes, trail blazed up rocky mountains and worked through brush. She is easy to catch, stands tied quietly, loads into anything and hauls quiet, easy to trim, has always been barefoot, quiet in stocks, easy to breed, easy to foal out, and she is a EXCELLENT mother, even adopting an orphan after loosing a set of twins as a maiden. She truly has no bad habits. We have retained her grandson for our breeding stallion and its time to part with her. This mare is not to be sold and passed around. She is to honest and good of a mare for that. With consistent riding this would be your go to kids horse, or grandma horse. She has that type of mindset and quality to her. She is low man in a herd setting, and does not have a mean bone in her body. She is kind enough that you can throw all your fresh weanlings in with her and know she will babysit them. Serious inquiries only. I have owned this mare for 10 years and she holds a very big piece of my heart. I will post new videos as I start riding her and getting her fit. Price will increase as I finish her. Some short videos in comments.
