Let us share the heartwarming story of Lucy, a sweet little micro pug who came to us after her previous owner could no longer care for her. Upon arriving at K9 Konnection, Lucy found her way to one of our loving foster homes, where we quickly noticed that she was having trouble urinating and having bowel movements. At first, we suspected a urinary tract infection, but after a thorough veterinary exam and special testing, we learned that Lucy had permanent nerve damage. This condition would mean she would face incontinence for the rest of her life.

Despite her challenges, Lucy is an incredible young lady with a gentle spirit. She adores both humans and her furry friends, and her cuddly nature and warm personality shine through. There’s so much life and love in her, just waiting to be shared.

Unfortunately, there wasn't a treatment or cure for her condition, so we reached out to other rescues that specialize in dogs with medical needs. Thankfully, with the assistance of Cold Wet Noses rescue, we found the perfect furever home for Lucy, where she will be cherished and happy.

We’d like to extend our gratitude to Two Pups Wellness for their generous support in covering Lucy’s medical expenses. Their assistance played a vital role in providing her with hope and a second chance at life. Together, we’ve helped save one more precious pup, ensuring that Lucy can live the loving and joyful life she deserves.
