Here is another bear that is up for adoption! This is "Cedric." He is 18" Standing and is made from mohair. Cedric is made to replicate the old "Steiff" bears from Germany. He is 5 way jointed, glass eyes (distressed), 100% wool felt paw pads and is completely hand sewn. He wears a leather collar with a vintage sleigh bell. Cedric is 285 plus shipping. Karl is now ADOPTED!! Hello friends! Meet "Karl." He is 18" tall in the standing position. Karl is made of mohair, has glass eyes (distressed), is 5 way jointed, 100% wool felt paws and is made to replicate the German "Steiff" bears. Karl wears a leather collar with his name carved on it, and a small victorian rattle/ribbon. Karl is also completely hand sewn. He can be adopted for 285 plus shipping. Hello friends! I went antique shopping with my sister this weekend and found this beautiful victorian sewing box and had just finished up a bear to put in it. I loved the way it turned out so much, I decided to keep it. I am working on some bears currently that I will post very soon.

I LOVE little sewing baskets. I have had many in my sewing years. This is my main sewing basket which I have personalized with memories of my mom who was an excellent seamstress and my dad who was an artist. You can see their photos and a paintbrush on the side of the basket that was my dad's. The dog sewing basket I made for myself and it is one of my favorite ones.

So this really cool thing happened! I was asked to be in the "Teddy Bear Times & Friends magazine published in the U.K. and this is the article. My dear friend Richard Backshas in German wrote the article. It just came out in December.

Happy Belated "New Year!" Hope everyone is having a good start to 2025! I am making a New Years Resolution to be more intentional about updating my page. I will be posting photos of my current projects and just some fun things for you to get to know more about me and my creating!!! I recently was asked to do a limited edition of 5 red bears for my good friend Richard in Germany who is an avid bear bear collector. I was then asked to do a limited edition of 5 blue bears which I am just about to complete. They are all sold.
