Loyal and affectionate, Atherton forms strong bonds with his people and is always eager to please. He’s highly food-motivated, which makes training both fun and effective. A tough chew toy and some quality time are his favorite ways to unwind.

Atherton gets along well with other dogs once properly introduced, but he does best in a home that respects his boundaries—especially around food. With structure, patience, and clear guidance, he’ll thrive as a devoted and well-mannered member of the family.

Kahlua came to Beauties when her previous owner could no longer care for her, and now she’s patiently waiting for her next chapter to begin. She’s been described as dog, cat, and kid friendly, though she hasn’t spent much time around other pets recently—so slow, thoughtful introductions will be best.

This sweet girl could use a little extra TLC (and a few extra snacks) to help her gain some weight, but she’s otherwise healthy, vetted, and ready to thrive in a loving home. Kahlua has that gentle, grateful soul that just wants stability, comfort, and someone to call her own.

🩷🩷ADOPT or FOSTER Allie: Smart and Sweet Lab Mix 🩷🩷

Allie is a bright and lovable lab mix who initially passed evaluations in the shelter but became fearful and reactive in that environment. Now in the care of Beauties, she is looking for a foster or forever home where she can truly thrive!

This clever girl is extremely smart and learns new tricks quickly, especially when treats are involved! She already knows commands like sit, lay down, shake (on either paw!), and speaks on command. We’ve even discovered that she can climb up on playground equipment! Allie walks pretty well on a leash, and with some dedicated training, she’s learning not to pull her handler along.

Allie is a true pack animal and will shower her future family with love and loyalty! She does have some “stranger danger” tendencies but will remember you instantly after just a few meetings, so patience and understanding are key. She thrives in calm environments, and going slow seems to work best for her.

While she does have a small barrier issue and can be protective of her food around new people, Allie is a sweetheart at heart. If you keep her in a kennel, just open the gate, and she’ll come out on her own!

Let’s help Allie find her forever family by next year. If you’re looking for a loving companion who just needs a little extra understanding, Allie might be the perfect match for you!

Starting at Club Rodeo make your way to the participating locations which include the Stock Tank in Conway Springs, The Keg in Colwich, the NoWhere Grill in Belle Plaine, the Getaway Lounge in Garden Plain and then back to Club Rodeo. Last bike in by 4pm!

Play games at each stop to try to create the best (or worst) poker hand! Cash prizes for Best & Worst Hands, great raffle prizes including a 50/50 raffle, and MORE!
