🍂 Falling for Laika! 🍁🐾
Sweater weather, colorful leaves, cozy evenings, and a best friend to share it all with. ❤️ Sounds pretty perfect, doesn’t it? Laika is hoping her next fall adventure leads her straight to YOU!

Laika is a beautiful 6-year-old Shepherd mix who loves her people, enjoys car rides and walks, and is always up for a game of ball or splashing in the water. And when the adventures are over? She’s more than happy to curl up beside her favorite person for some well-deserved snuggles. 🍂

This smart girl knows sit, shake, and lay down, and she’s ready to be your loyal sidekick through every season. Laika is selective with other dogs, isn’t cat-friendly, and will need thoughtful introductions and management around other pups.
Right now, Laika is spending her days in boarding, dreaming of a home where she can enjoy crisp fall walks, cozy nights, and the simple joy of belonging to someone.

💙🐈Meet Ragamuffin💙🐈
Currently on Medical Hold - Ragamuffin is not yet available for adoption while we focus on getting him healthy and feeling his best. We will update his profile as soon as he has been medically cleared and are ready to begin the search for a forever home. Ragamuffin is one of 28 cats rescued from an Augusta home in early June following a suspected hoarding situation. Despite a difficult beginning, Ragamuffin is now safe and receiving the care he deserves.

Medical Information - Ragamuffin may experience occasional cold-like symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, or watery eyes, which can typically be managed with supportive care. He has also been diagnosed with stomatitis, a painful inflammation of the mouth and gums, and will need a full-mouth extraction. Most cats experience significant improvement following this procedure and adjust remarkably well to life without teeth, comfortably eating wet food and often even dry kibble once healed.

With continued care and a little time, Ragamuffin will have the chance to leave the past behind and enjoy a healthier, more comfortable future.

💙🐾Adopt or Foster Koa🐾💙
Koa and his siblings were abandoned outside their home without food or water. When their owner failed to return for them, Beauties stepped in and brought all six puppies into safe care. Since then, Koa has been working hard on getting healthy and learning that people can be kind and safe while in boarding.

Koa is a beautiful boy who is still building confidence and learning social skills. He will thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Having another confident, friendly dog in the home would help Koa continue to come out of his shell and feel secure. Having another dog is required in his foster or adopter's home.

Koa is still on his journey to becoming adoption-ready. Because of their history, they need a patient foster home where they can continue building trust and confidence. Fostering will allow them to safely develop their social skills with people and, when appropriate, other animals, helping prepare them for a successful forever home.

🖤🐾 BRYNNE HAS WAITED LONG ENOUGH. WHEN IS IT HER TURN?! 🐾🖤

Meet Brynne, a 45-pound, 5-year-old member of the Fun Police Department who's desperately ready to resign from boarding life and start her new career as a beloved house dog. 🏡❤️

Brynne has opinions, okay? 😂

🍖 Another dog getting a treat before her? Unacceptable.
🎾 The daycare crowd getting a little too wild? Someone needs to restore order.
⏰ Her snacks taking too long to arrive? She'd like to speak with management immediately.

She's sassy. She's hilarious. She's full of personality. And once you're in her circle, you're one of her favorite things in the world. ❤️

But behind all that sass is a story that breaks our hearts.

In February 2022, Brynne was found living in a tiny kennel beside a dumpster with her seven newborn puppies. 💔

Two of her babies had already passed away before help arrived.

Despite everything, Brynne did what moms do best. She protected her family. She cared for her babies. She survived.

One by one, her puppies found homes.

🏡 They got couches. 🏡 They got families. 🏡 They got happy endings.

And Brynne?

Brynne is still waiting.

For nearly five years, this girl has been overlooked while other dogs came and went. She's spent years learning to trust, building confidence, and discovering that the world isn't quite as scary as she once thought it was.

And she's come so far. 🌟

She is a happy girl but takes time to trust so slow human intros required...once established you have a friend for life🐶.

🐾Adopt Klondike ❤️
What would you do for a "Klondike" dog?

This kid is slowly coming out of his shell. His first foster took him a long way! He is now starting to play with the other dogs, comes out of his kennel on his own and follows the pack inside and outside. Humans are still pretty scary, but he allows you to love on him and isn't completely hiding from the world. The living room dog bed is still his go to safe space, but he is also going around and exploring too!

Kennel trained and has not had any accidents inside. Will require patience and understanding as new things are still scary, while knowing he will need to be pushed into new things!

Due to Klondike's shy nature, he will require a home with another dog.

💔 Griffin thought this was finally his turn. 💔 After spending far too long waiting, Griffin recently had adopters interested in him. For a moment, it felt like his happily-ever-after might finally be around the corner.

And then...nothing.

The messages stopped. The conversations ended. The people who showed interest simply disappeared.

Meanwhile, Griffin is still waiting.

Waiting in boarding.

Waiting for someone to see him.

Waiting for someone to choose him.

At 8 years old, Griffin knows how to be a good dog. He isn't asking for much. He doesn't need endless adventures or hours at the dog park. He just wants a soft bed, a few treats, some leisurely walks, car rides with the windows down, and a person to love.

This sweet Lab/Vizsla mix is the definition of a loyal companion. He greets his favorite people with the cutest sploots, wiggles, and happy hops. He loves chasing toys and sticks, enjoys short walks, and after a little playtime, he's perfectly content to curl up on the couch beside you.

Griffin is potty trained, kennel trained, and a true gentleman in the house. No accidents. No counter surfing. No getting into trouble. Just a good boy who wants to belong somewhere.

Because Griffin prefers to be the center of attention, he needs to be the only pet in the home. He would do best with older children and a family that appreciates the slower, sweeter pace of life that comes with a senior dog.

What breaks our hearts is that Griffin keeps getting overlooked for younger dogs. Day after day, people walk past his kennel. Day after day, he watches other dogs leave while he stays behind.

We can't explain to him why.

We can't tell him why nobody has come back for him.

We can only keep hoping that somewhere out there is the person who will look at this gray-faced gentleman and see exactly what we see: a loyal best friend who has so much love left to give.

🩷🩷ADOPT or FOSTER Sydney & Jingle – A Bonded Pair 🐾🩷

Sydney and Jingle share a special bond that has helped each of them navigate life’s challenges, and they are hoping to find a foster or forever home where they can stay together.

Sydney’s journey began in 2020 when she was rescued from a hoarding situation along with several other dogs. Having spent much of her early life outdoors with little positive human interaction, Sydney is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure. Her kennel is her comfort zone, and while she can be protective of it, she shows quiet bravery once given time and space. Sydney truly blossoms when she has a calm canine companion by her side—and that companion is Jingle.

Jingle was rescued from the Wichita Animal Shelter in 2021. Through it all, Jingle has remained a gentle, affectionate, and people-loving dog. She is eager to please, enjoys playtime, and has a wonderful way of helping shy dogs build confidence—something she naturally does for Sydney. While Jingle can be a bit dominant, she does best with dogs who aren’t overly pushy, making her an ideal match for Sydney’s quieter personality.

Together, Sydney and Jingle balance each other beautifully. Jingle offers reassurance and confidence, while Sydney brings a calm, gentle presence. They would thrive in a peaceful, patient home where their adopter understands that trust—especially for Sydney—takes time, consistency, and compassion.
