We wanted to take a moment to inform you that we are currently experiencing high demand for grooming services, with appointments booking approximately three weeks in advance. To ensure your pet receives the grooming they need in a timely manner, we strongly encourage you to schedule your appointment as soon as possible. Especially if you’re a current client of ours, as we are getting many new client calls at this time of year and don’t want you to miss out or wait longer.

Additionally, please be aware that our new pricing structure will take effect on June 1st. For any questions or to book your appointment, feel free to call or text our groomers directly at 316-244-4858.

Field trip day at Chicken N Pickle with the crew! 🐾🍔🥒

Today’s working lunch was all about real-world training and these dogs absolutely crushed it. We practiced learning how to relax in a busy environment, settle calmly at our feet, and hold focus while we sat and ate. Public outings like this are huge for building confidence, neutrality, and good manners around distractions.

After lunch, we put in some obedience work and finished with a long sit-stay and recall session — and these pups showed OFF. 💪🐕 Reliable obedience isn’t just about commands in the training room… it’s about being able to stay calm, focused, and responsive anywhere.

Super proud of these dogs and the progress they’re making! 👏

As the weather gets warmer fleas and ticks get more prevalent. Be sure to check with your veterinarian about the best preventatives for your dog. If we happen to notice them while they are within our care at the grooming salon, this is our policy.

🐾 We’re looking at adding a new service to Andover Dog Training Center & Grooming and would LOVE your input! 🏡🐶🐱
We’re considering offering professional in-home pet sitting and house sitting services — but not just for dogs! We would be able to care for all animals in the home while also helping keep your house maintained while you’re away.
Services could include:
✔️ Feeding & caring for all pets
✔️ Administering medications
✔️ Daily exercise/playtime
✔️ Cleaning up accidents/litter boxes
✔️ Scooping the yard
✔️ Taking trash to the curb
✔️ Bringing in mail/packages
✔️ Light home upkeep while you travel
Most importantly:
✅ All sitters would be background checked
✅ Fully insured
✅ Trained in dog body language
✅ Certified in pet first aid & CPR
We know there are apps out there that offer pet sitting services, but many of those platforms don’t require real hands-on training or have the backing of a trusted local company. We want to provide something safer, more professional, and community-based with people you know and trust locally.
We’d really appreciate honest feedback:

• Someone staying with your pets 24/7?
• Daytime-only care?
• A few drop-in visits each day?
🚗 Would a pet taxi service be helpful?
(Transporting pets to grooming, vet appointments, daycare, training, etc.)
