The Kansas State Animal Response Team, a volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, teaches pet owners how to prepare for their pets, assists emergency management in pet disaster planning, trains volunteers for response and responds when requested.

We all know horses play a key role in our lives. There is a military family relocating to Pittsburg, KS who needs to find a boarding facility for their horses. If you can help keep this family and their horses together please click on the Horses & Heroes post shared below.

Hey KS friends, we need your help! We know of a military family pcsing to Pittsburg, KS and bringing horses. They are in search of a boarding facility within an hour of the town, ideally less of course. If you have any contacts, please comment or message us. We appreciate your assistance!

Watch out for your pets and neighbors during this Independence Day weekend. Flynn, Toby, and I all have our collars (with tags) on and microchips just in case something scares us and we run away. We also like to visit the tree in the back yard before most of the evening excitement gets going. Be safe everyone. - Fred
