Did you know that in Kansas you can only breed 3 litters in one year running from November 1 through October 31 or you can be fined $1,000 for each violation. You have to register and apply for a hobby breeder application through the Kansas Department of Agriculture to do it legally. I only say this so that you know and you don’t get in to trouble I had no idea and was paid a visit and luckily for me I haven’t broken the law but I’m glad I learned it’s more important to do things the right way than to do things outside the lines so if you plan to breed more than 3 litters be sure to get registered.
