Fireworks go on sale June 27th!
With the Fourth of July right around the corner, now is the time to start preparing for your pet’s safety and comfort. The loud noises, crowds, and parties can pose a serious risk to our four-legged friends if we aren’t careful. Follow our Fourth of July pet safety tips to help your best pal enjoy the holiday as much as you do.
🐾 Keep pets indoors
🐾 Create a retreat – Set your pet up in a secure room with all the comforts of home, including bedding, water, and toys. Draw the curtains and turn on a TV, radio, or fan to block out the noise.
🐾 The importance of IDs – Make sure your pet is wearing his or her collar with up-to-date ID tags at all times, and be sure to have him or her microchipped (and register the microchip and ensure your info is up-to-date) if you haven’t already.
🐾 Supervise – Many of us spend time outdoors with friends and family over the holiday weekend, and pets are often a part of the group. Remember to keep your pet away from table scraps, alcoholic drinks, and garbage cans to avoid a pet poisoning
emergency.
If your pet's anxiety is severe, please let us know now so we can help!
