Puppyhood is foundational.
It is the key to a lifelong bond and most harmonious life together.
When you bring a puppy into your life, you must choose wisely.
Choose the breeder (or rescue) wisely.
Choose the breed wisely.
Choose what you do with your new puppy wisely.
Choose what you expose them to and what you teach them wisely.
And I say this, not to invoke fear– but to inspire!
YOU get to choose.
That is a wonderful thing.
YOU get to form your puppy’s outlook on life, how they experience the world, how they live with you.
This is fantastic news!
But it also means that if you want to have this sort of companion, you must take the time to research, to plan, to follow through.
