🐾❤️ Happy Veterinary Technician Week! ❤️🐾

This week, we’re celebrating the amazing veterinary technicians who make Blair Doon so special!

Our techs wear a lot of hats throughout the day. From comforting nervous pets and caring for hospitalized patients to assisting with surgeries, monitoring anesthesia, educating clients, and being there for our doctors and teammates, they do SO much behind the scenes that often goes unseen.

We are so proud of our team and grateful for everything they bring to Blair Doon. ❤️ Thank you for the long days, the extra effort, the comforting touches, and the love you give our patients as if they were your own.

Our team is pretty pawsome, and we couldn’t do what we do without you! 🐾

Help us wish Dr. Clara and Dr. Mikos a very happy birthday! It has been so fun celebrating them. We are so lucky to have them, and our pets are even luckier! 🥳🐶🎉🐾

🐾 Almost 200 patients and clients helped last week! 🐾

Needless to say, our feet were TIRED! After a busy week of caring for almost 200 pets, our team definitely deserved a little pampering.

We’re so thankful to Boehringer Ingelheim for treating our team to a well-deserved pedicure and some much-needed time to relax and be taken care of.

HAPPY 30TH WORK ANNIVERSARY

Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone for our Practice Manager, Christie

Over the past 30 years, Christie has done just about every job there is at Blair Doon. From starting in the kennels, to working as a receptionist, going to school to earn her RVT license, and then spending 18 years as a veterinary technician, Christie has truly grown alongside this clinic.

Today, she is our dedicated Practice Manager, and we honestly cannot imagine Blair Doon without her. She is the person who keeps things moving, supports our team, cares deeply about our clients and patients, and gives so much of herself to this clinic every single day.
