Happy early third birthday Gus!

We know your birthday isn't until tomorrow, but we couldn't wait to get festive and pushed it up to today. It's hard to believe that you have only been part of the pack for two months. You always greet me with a smile in the morning and lots of kisses throughout the day. We all know how much you love your mom and your treats, so we pulled out the fancy treats for today. I am glad that you were able to spend your early birthday with your best friend Ranger. (in the third pic) Here's to many more birthdays ahead Gustopher!

If your pup has a birthday coming up, let us know! We may not have the correct date in our system, as it is not uncommon for the vet records we have on file to have different dates than when you celebrate! 😉 You can feel free to bring in treats for the whole pack for the day, or we can bust out some of our special birthday treats too.

A couple weeks before Sean passed, Harvester Arts had put together a silent auction that included a print by Annelise Muret called Nom Nom Hand Snack. Sean looked through the entire collection and decided that out of all of the pieces, that he just had to have that one, telling his wife Kristin and the team here about it. He tried to make a bet for it online but it did not seem to go through, and so he repeatedly tried again every day until he grew frustrated. Then an anonymous person beat him to the punch and bought the piece.

After Sean passed, we learned that the person who purchased the piece was none other than his wife Kristin, who got it for him as a surprise Christmas gift. After his memorial, Annelise reached out to us at Tailwaggers after hearing from Kristin about her devious plan to gift him the print, and offered to gift us a print for us to hang at Tailwaggers in the memory of Sean. My immediate response was "That would be amazing!" but what I meant was "F**k yeah!" So in loving memory of Sean, and with the kindness of Annelise, we now have the print hung at TWs HQ to the left, right when you walk in. See the photos to see the photo of both Kristin's and Tailwaggers' Print, as well as Annelise's dog Fitz in his land shark phase, which is the star of the illustration. We also threw in a photo of our lovely Tailwagger Timber (the Terror, as her parents call her) who shares a resemblance with the print.

Happy Birthday Henri (with an eye)! We can't believe that you are turning six already. It is always such a delight in the morning seeing you show up. You seem to light up the room wherever you go with that goofy grin of yours, no matter who's in it. Although your bestie Da Vinci isn't here today, hopefully you can party with him later this week!

Happy 7th Birthday Sully! Whether you are playing chase, playing hide and seek under the desk when it's time to go home, or joining Truly in conducting choir practice when the sirens go off, you bring a sense of whimsy wherever you go.

Happy 21st birthday Theo! It's the big one! Although I made him a board, he didn't seem too interested in taking a picture with it. 😂 Thank you for sticking with Tailwaggers for almost two and a half years through the "ruff" times and the good times too. Whether it be ice cold and slow or burning hot and the busiest day we've seen yet, you were always there. 🧡

It must be the birthday season. Happy Birthday Luna Chocolate! You are over half a decade old now. Oh how time flies. We made sure to give you even more butt scratches today than normal.

Although she isn't here today, happy birthday to Sully too. Hopefully we can fill out the board for her when she is here next! Our own Theo's birthday is tomorrow too. It seems like everyone is finding excuses to hand out the special treats. 😂
