Bowser enjoys attention and... chilling in the clean laundry basket 🤣

This sweet guy will soon begin the process of heartworm treatment. It will be expensive (for us) and hard (on him), but will also be very much worth it in the end.

Please keep your dogs on year-round heartworm prevention. 🚫❤️🪱

Once Bowser has completed treatment, he is expected to make a full recovery, with no lasting health effects. He'll be as good as new!

Meet Gus! He is between two and three years old, weighs approximately 15 pounds, and we believe he is a Pug, long-haired Dachshund mix. He has been shaved down except for the tip of his tail which is the reason we think he is a long-Hair Dachshund. He does take a little bit of time to warm up, but once he has, he is a very loving and cuddly dog who loves to ride in the car. He plays well with the other dogs in his foster home and is housebroken/kennel trained.
