We are switching to a tuition based lesson program as of January 1, 2025. Monthly tuition is based on four lessons per month. If there is a fifth week in a month, it will be used for any makeup lessons, or you can request an additional lesson that week ($55 for a private lesson, $45 for a group lesson).
Private Lessons
Payment is due no later than the 1st of the month. Monthly tuition for private lessons is $240. If you pay on or before the 1st of the month, you will receive a $20 discount for the month, making the amount due $220. If paid after the 1st of the month, it is $240, and your lesson(s) will not be given until payment is made. If you do not pay by the 3rd of the month, your lesson spot will become available to another student. It will no longer be held for you. In addition, you must have your horse ready on time. Your lesson time will not extend if you are late.
Semi-Private Lessons (Two riders)
Payment is due no later than the 1st of the month. Monthly tuition for semi-private lessons is $200 per rider. If you pay on or before the 1st of the month, you will receive a $20 discount for the month, making the amount due $180 per rider. If paid after the 1st of the month, it is $200, and your lesson(s) will not be given until payment is made. If you do not pay by the 3rd of the month, your lesson spot will become available to another student. It will no longer be held for you. In addition, you must have your horse ready on time. Your lesson time will not extend if you are late.
Cancellations/Rescheduling
Trainer Cancellation – In the event of cancellation by your trainer, your trainer will work with you to find a mutually acceptable lesson time. A trainer is the only one who will cancel due to weather conditions, lesson horse availability, sickness, etc.
Rider Cancellation – Riders must give 48 hours notice of cancellation. If it is less than 48 hours notice, the lesson will be forfeit. If it is more than 48 hours notice, the trainer will work with you to find a mutually acceptable lesson time. If you need to have a break in your lessons due to vacation, we will prorate the tuition for that month if coordinated prior to the 1st of the month. If the break is longer than two weeks, we will prorate the tuition for that month; be aware that your lesson time will not be reserved for you. It will become open to other students and may/may not be available when you return. Of course, we will work with you to find a new time.
Rider/Rider-Owned Horse Injury - If a break is required due to rider or horse injury, we will credit the tuition for that month at the time of injury. Be aware that your lesson time will not be reserved for you if the injury takes the rider or horse out for longer than two weeks. It will become open to other students and may/may not be available when you return. Of course, we will work with you to find a new time.
