A little business update from Ponchos Puppery. ❤️
Transparency is extremely important to us, so I wanted to share why we won't have chicken feet available this weekend.
After sorting through a shipment of 205 chicken feet that were sold to us as "healthy," we found that approximately 92% had lesions consistent with bumblefoot, leaving only 17 feet that met the quality standards we expect for our customers.
Because of that, we've made the decision not to sell them.
Could we have ignored it? Maybe. But that's not how we do business. If we wouldn't confidently give it to our own dogs, we're not going to sell it to yours.
We know this means we'll have less inventory this weekend, but providing safe, high-quality treats will always come before making a sale.
