Meet Sid, our little four-legged radar system.

We're not sure what he's scanning for, but according to those ears, it's important. Around here it's always a one ear up, one ear down kind of day. Maybe he's picking up squirrel frequencies. Maybe he's monitoring snack activity from three rooms away. The world may never know.
His love language is touch, kind words, and hearing the magical phrase, "Want a snack?"
Sid is always ready for whatever adventure you've got planned. Trip around the block? Let's go. Afternoon nap? He's already claimed a pillow. Movie night? Popcorn's ready and he's saving you a spot on the couch.

We know the odds.

We know that dogs like Luci often wait longer than they should. She's a pit mix, and sadly that means many people will scroll right past her. She's not flashy. She doesn't have striking blue eyes, giant ears, or some rare breed mix that turns heads. She's just... Luci.

A plain Jane kind of girl.

But if someone would just give her a chance, they would discover something truly special.

Luci was adopted from us as a roly-poly little puppy. She left the shelter with a family and all the hopes of a happily ever after. But somewhere along the way, life got busy. There wasn't enough time for her, and she found herself back at the shelter.

The heartbreaking part?

Luci doesn't seem to hold it against anyone.

Every morning she wakes up happy. Every person she meets is her new best friend. As far as Luci is concerned, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and it's a "skip to my lou" kind of day.
She doesn't care if you work long hours, had a bad day, or forgot to throw the ball one extra time. She'll simply be there, tail wagging, waiting patiently for you to come home.
