🐾 Help Victor See a Brighter Future! 🧡

Meet Victor, our sweet one-year-old orange tabby who has captured the hearts of everyone here at Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital.

Victor was born with several congenital eye conditions, including:
👁️ Microphthalmia (abnormally small eyes)
👁️ Persistent Pupillary Membranes (tissue that did not properly break down during development)
👁️ Upper Eyelid Ectropion (eyelids that roll outward)

These conditions cause his third eyelids to remain elevated, significantly affecting his vision and comfort. Unfortunately, the only way to improve Victor's quality of life is through corrective surgery.

The good news is that Victor has been scheduled to see Dr. Sigle at All About Eyes Veterinary Ophthalmology. The surgery cost is $1,240, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we've already raised $325!

💙 We still need $915 to reach our goal.

Victor doesn't have a permanent owner and currently calls Stoney Creek home. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings him one step closer to receiving the care he needs.

Dear Stoney Creek Family,

‼️‼️We wanted to share some important updates regarding our veterinary team and appointment availability.‼️‼️

Many of you may have noticed that it has recently become more difficult to schedule appointments with us. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work hard to continue providing the best possible care for your pets during this transition period.

Dr. Ya is expecting her second child, and her last day with us will be June 5th. We are incredibly happy for her and wish her and her growing family all the best.

While Dr. Ya prepares for this exciting new chapter, we want to reassure our clients that your pets will continue to receive excellent care from our dedicated veterinary team, including Dr. Zamborsky and Dr. Jarrell.

In addition, we have expanded our medical support team with two long-term relief veterinarians. Many of you already know Dr. Bashor, and we are also welcoming Dr. Grossi, who will be assisting with surgeries and patient care.

🎉🎉We are also excited to announce that we have hired two new veterinarians who recently graduated in May 2026:🥳🥳

• Dr. Victoria Warnecke, graduate of Oklahoma State University, will join us on July 6th
• Dr. EmmaLee Hovander, graduate of NC State University, will join us on August 17th

We know it has been frustrating trying to get your pets scheduled while we are adjusting to this transition. We truly appreciate your continued support and loyalty as we grow our team and work to better accommodate our clients and patients.

In observance of Memorial Day, Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital will be closed on Monday, May 25th.

Please stop by the clinic before the holiday weekend if you need to pick up any medications, prescription diets, or supplies for your furry kiddos. 🐾

We will reopen on Tuesday, May 26th at 7:30 AM.
