Coles Turnpike Tree Farm has started shearing Spruce Christmas Trees for year. Will take a few weeks to finish white and blue spruce Christmas Trees then they will be ready to decorate someone's home. Fir get sheared in late August and September.

This is what I found when mowing Christmas trees. Turkey nest with eggs. Almost destroyed it until turkey flew out and let me know it was there. Did my best not to destroy it by keeping it hidden as best as could.

Coles Turnpike Tree Farm just got recertification as part of American Tree Farm System. We have been part of this program since 1987. Also used this certification to renew New York State Grown & Certified for Maple Syrup and Christmas Trees.

Coles Turnpike Tree Farm has been planting Tree seedlings for 4 days. Today was last day, now hope weather cooperate so they survive until they grow to Christmas trees in about 10 years.
