Another beautiful face from my Maine photography workshop! 🖤

Meet Omen, a gorgeous Doberman who stepped in front of my camera at Ship Cove back in August.

I’m finally making some headway on editing the photos from this trip, and it’s been so much fun revisiting all the incredible dogs I had the opportunity to photograph.

There’s still more Maine magic to share, but for now, Omen deserves a moment in the spotlight! 🐾

Sometimes the best photography opportunities are the ones you don’t plan for. ❤️

While I was in Maine back in August for a photography workshop, I happened to meet this handsome little guy, Niko, at Ship Cove.

Of course, when I spotted an adorable corgi in such a beautiful location, I couldn’t resist asking his owner, Adam, if he’d let me take a few photos.

Thankfully, Adam said yes!

We spent less than five minutes taking photos, but sometimes that’s all it takes to capture something special. It was one of those fun, unexpected moments that made my trip to Maine even more memorable.

A huge thank you to Adam for being so kind and letting a random photographer capture a few portraits of his sweet boy!

Over the past year, I’ve been photographing dogs throughout the Ann Arbor area for this special coffee table book, and I’m now moving into the design phase.

Pre-orders are open through October 18 at $100 per book. After that, the regular price will be $125.

Artwork delivery day ❤️

There’s something so special about seeing photographs go from images on a screen to something tangible that becomes part of a client’s home.

Then the weeks get busy. The season changes. And it moves a little further down the list.

I understand it. Someday is a comfortable place to keep things—there’s no deadline on it, and nothing feels lost.

I’m so excited to share one of the new album styles I’m now offering!
