A beautiful groom starts in the bath! 🛁🐾

Blitzen lives the city-dog life, and those adventures leave their share of grime on his coat! For his spa day, we used the Cosmos bathing system with Botanica Deep Clean and Bubblegum Groom It to help wash away that city buildup. 🏙️🫧

Then came careful hand drying and finishing to bring out his handsome Cocker Spaniel style. With 30+ years of experience, I know a beautiful finish starts with a thoroughly clean coat.

🐾 A little spotlight on two special members of The Perfect Paw team—Paula and Samantha!

Paula brings experience, care, and attention to detail to her grooming, and I’m so proud to have her talent as part of our salon. ❤️

Our new apprentice groomer, Samantha, may be early in her grooming career, but she is certainly no stranger to this industry. She has grown up in it over the last 20 years, working alongside me and learning how much patience, dedication, and care goes into what we do. Watching her build her skills and confidence is especially meaningful to me.

These photos are a little celebration of their work from yesterday and the beautiful dogs we’re trusted to care for. Behind every groom is time, effort, and a team that cares.

The Perfect Paw is led by Karen Osper, whose 30+ years in professional grooming, breeding, dog shows, and veterinary settings help shape our salon’s standards.

Alongside Karen, our talented grooming team brings their own expertise in coat care, styling, and thoughtful handling. Every groom is tailored to the dog’s coat, comfort, and individual needs.

All dogs are hand dried—we do not kennel dry. It’s part of the time and attention we put into every appointment.

Give me thirty seconds with a dog, and I can tell you exactly how long it's been since their last grooming appointment. I don't need to ask — the coat tells me everything.

Feeling incredibly grateful as I look back on this journey. ❤️

For more than 30 years, so many wonderful friends and loyal clients have trusted me with their beloved dogs. That trust has allowed me to keep learning, educating, competing and working tirelessly to perfect the craft I love so deeply.

The American Cocker Spaniel has always held an especially important place in my heart. Years of dedication to this beautiful breed led to an opportunity I could have only dreamed of—grooming Elvis, my dear friend Sheryl’s dog, for a worldwide Tory Burch advertising campaign.

Seeing Elvis featured at this level is such a proud and emotional moment. It represents decades of passion, education, hard work and a commitment to never stop improving.

To every friend, client and fellow dog lover who has supported me and trusted me through the years: thank you. You have helped make opportunities like this possible, and I will never take that for granted. 🐾❤️

I am so proud of Elvis, so thankful to Sheryl for trusting me with him, and incredibly honored to have played a part in this beautiful Tory Burch campaign.
