Grooming is truly my passion. I love working with all kinds of dogs—every coat, personality, and challenge brings me joy. But I especially love testing and growing my skills with flashy cuts and breed-specific trims. There’s something so rewarding about bringing out the beauty and personality of each pup while continuing to perfect my craft.

Not sure what day it is at this point but wow… what a stretch of days 😅

Finished work Wednesday and headed straight to VA Beach, rolled in around 1:45am and somehow made it to an AKC Master Groomer class bright and early the next morning. Full day of learning, then right into the trade show the next day (couldn’t resist some new shears and products 🙃), followed by a management class before turning right back around and heading home.

Got in around 11:30pm… and then alarms were set for 6am both Saturday and Sunday for the Lake Audrey HRC test.

And miss Emma showed UP 🥹
Two started passes this weekend with very little formal training on my end… she absolutely carried me and I couldn’t be prouder of her.

Huge congrats to all the dogs and handlers who ran this weekend too — that kind of work doesn’t just happen overnight. It takes a ton of time, consistency, and effort on both ends, and it really shows.

I am beyond exhausted but honestly really grateful I was able to do all of it. Learning, growing, showing up, and watching your dog succeed hits different.

I get to be a potato… until tomorrow morning when I’m back at it at 8am 😂
