We have a 7 year old spayed female who is looking for a new soft place to land. She is young at heart but easy to live with for a low key person or two.
- She adores kids but does better in a home without them (likes to herd them around the yard, and doesn't like the energy they bring to a home)
- Doesn't like small dogs/ puppies
- Selectively likes big/medium male dogs (no females)
- A home who will give her things to do to keep her mind active.
- Loves to travel and go places, wonderful in hotels, hiking etc
- Does not love fireworks or gunshots
- Loves to snuggle on the couch and play ball
- Does fine with cats
- Will protect her yard, so does require a home that knows how to manage a protective herding dog.
- Great out in public and on walks, stores etc.
We have small dogs and puppies, and she cannot stay here permanently. We are working on trimming off some weight and bringing her back into better condition as well as continuing to assess her for the proper fit, so we aren't in a huge rush.
