When Pat graduated from vet school over 44 years ago we had no idea the adventures ahead. Today was his sixth response to an accident involving animals. A semi hauling cattle overturned. Sadly one of the rescuers fell sustaining injuries and some cattle didn't survive.

Seven no show surgeries in two weeks. That's more than we usually have in a year. They were reminded with a call and text yet didn't have the courtesy to let us know they weren't coming yet we're backed up on surgeries until October. We would have preferred moving up future surgeries but can't when we don't know someone isn't coming. This is forcing us to institute a new policy. After August 1st half of surgery price will be required when scheduling. This will be non refundable.

If you had to evacuate your horse tonight, would you know exactly what to do?

It's not something any of us like to think about, but being prepared before an emergency happens could make all the difference for you and your horse.

In this live webinar with Dr. Rebecca Gimenez Husted, you'll learn practical, veterinarian-backed advice on creating an evacuation plan, preparing an emergency kit, transporting your horse safely, and avoiding the common mistakes that can cost valuable time when every minute matters.

You can't predict floods or wildfires, but you can prepare for them. Join us through the link below!

If anyone wants an appointment this morning we thought we were booked however another surgery didn't show up. That's the second one this week. We call the week before yet they are not considerate enough to let us know they aren't coming. This is part of the reason we're backed up on surgeries until October. We don't want to change our policy but may be forced to.
