We had a great debut day at New Hanover Stables!

Embry premiered 4 y.o. OTTB Pheebs in the Field (aka Phoebe) at her first show ever! The pair did a great job and even competed in a fun ba****ck class where Embry had to steer with only one hand while holding out her other arm.

Kaki had her first go at short stirrup with her very own King of Hearts (aka Cupid). Not only was it a great taste for her future divisions, she also competed top three in both the ba****ck and junior hunter hack classes.

This show was extra proof that all those “airplane arm” lessons pay off and the fundamentals of balance are integral 😉 I’m excited to see how these girls progress by end of season! 💪🤸🏇

Phoebe had the winter off to finish growing and fill out a bit. She’s now back to work and prepping for her first show next weekend!

What a great start to the day with Shelby and Kaki! ☀️
