🤠 Meet "Merrill"—the newest member of the Morning Dove crew! 🐴

A huge thank you to the incredible team from Bank of America and Merrill Lynch who spent Friday volunteering their time and talents to help us build some amazing new lesson props!

Together, they built some awesome new lesson props, including “Merrill” the roping bull, a multipurpose cactus for mailbox and ring activities, and new upright poles!

Our participants are already excited to put the new props to work! We’re so grateful for the time, teamwork, and care that went into making these. 💙

Thank you, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch, for helping us make a difference—one lesson at a time! 🐴

Yesterday, the Morning Dove family had the incredible honor of helping one of our riders make his final journey.

At his family’s request, his beloved horse, Hazel, led the hearse at his funeral with another Morning Dove horse by her side. It was a deeply moving tribute to the bond between a veteran, his horse, and the community that loved him.

We are so grateful to his family for trusting us to be part of such a meaningful moment, and to our staff who represented Morning Dove with compassion, dignity, and respect.

Thank you, Youarecurrent, for sharing his story and capturing the significance of this beautiful farewell. 🤍🐴🇺🇸

When the temperatures rise, keeping our horses cool becomes a team effort! ☀️💙🐴

Our participants have had so much fun learning different ways to help our equine partners beat the heat—from making and feeding refreshing horse popsicles to giving them a cool rinse after their lesson. It's a great opportunity to learn about horse care while giving back to the horses who do so much for them.

These special moments remind us that therapeutic riding is about more than riding—it's about caring for our horses, learning new skills, and building lasting bonds with our incredible equine partners. 💛
