While it does feel like the weather is cooperating so far, we still have a heat warning for our area today! 🥵🔥☀️

A good reminder for all summer: bring your pets inside as the temperatures start to climb, especially mid day, and give them lots of cool water.

Asphalt or concrete can be much hotter than the air (90 degree air can mean 140 degree hot concrete in the sun!) so try to stick to grassy walks for those puppy toes ❤️🐾

As the parties and fireworks are under way, here's a few safety reminders for our pets:
1. Loud noises are scary. Try white noise or a TV playing to distract pets. Keep them away from windows and doors, and give them safe places to hide. 🎇
2. It's hot out there! 🔥🥵 Keep pets indoors during the middle of the day. Walk dogs early in the morning and after the fireworks are done
3. Keep the Bbq food away from pets, we see a lot of vomiting and diarrhea around holidays when pets get into people food. 🌭🍔
