Please check your pet’s medications and request any refills well in advance so we have ample time to fill them before the closure. Call us at 231-893-7343 for refill requests.

⚠️ LOCAL CANINE RESPIRATORY ILLNESS ALERT ⚠️

There is a confirmed outbreak of canine parainfluenza and Mycoplasma in our area, two infections that can contribute to “kennel cough.”

Please watch for:

• Frequent coughing or a dry, honking cough
• Gagging or retching after coughing
• Sneezing
• Runny nose or watery eyes
• Decreased appetite
• Low energy or fever

If your dog is showing these signs, please call Whitehall Pet Practice at 231-893-7343.

Dogs can be exposed wherever they come into close contact with other dogs, including:

• Boarding kennels and doggy daycare
• Grooming facilities
• Dog parks
• Training classes and dog events
• Shelters and rescues
• Playdates or other dog gatherings
• High traffic walking trails

Rapid or difficult breathing requires immediate veterinary care. Thank you for helping keep our local pups healthy! 🐾

Some kind people brought this very sweet, well-mannered girl to us after finding her on Durham Road. Unfortunately, no microchip was found. She will be taken to the Whitehall Police Department. Please share to help get this sweet pup home! 🐾❤️
