Meet Selena! This beautiful 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier weighs 46 pounds and is a happy, friendly girl with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life. Selena came to us from another local rescue, and she’s ready to find a family who can keep up with her busy lifestyle and help her become the best dog she can be. She’s an outgoing, energetic young pup who will need plenty of daily exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep her body and brain happily occupied. She’s still working on her leash manners, so continued training and consistency will help her learn to walk politely alongside her people. Selena seems to do well in a crate and was a champ for her veterinary care, which is always nice to see! She’s good with kids, open to meeting other dogs, and can be cat tested. Selena has all the makings of a fun, active companion for someone who enjoys getting outside and making their dog part of the adventure. If you’re looking for a friendly, energetic best friend who’s ready to join you for walks, play sessions, and plenty of fun, Selena would love to meet you! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Meet Sammi! This sweet 5-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs just 9 pounds right now, but she’s working on putting on some weight and getting back to feeling her best. Sammi came to us from another rescue after she and her sibling were sadly left in an apartment without proper food or a clean environment. She was very thin and had lost a lot of her hair, but she’s on the mend and ready to start looking forward to a much brighter future. Through it all, Sammi has remained a friendly, gentle girl who seems happy to be around people. She walks nicely on a leash and would make a lovely little companion for walks around the neighborhood and quality time at home. One thing to know is that Sammi can be vocal when left alone, so her new family should be prepared to help her adjust to being on her own and work with her patiently as she settles in. She’s good with kids, open to meeting other dogs, and can be cat tested. After being let down by people in the past, Sammi deserves a home where she’ll be safe, well cared for, and loved just as she is. If you have room in your heart for a little girl who’s working hard to get back on her paws, Sammi would love to meet you! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Peaceable Kingdom, PA Kennel License #04131, 1049 MacArthur Rd., Whitehall, PA 18052.

Meet Kobe! This adorable 8-year-old Maltese/Shih Tzu mix weighs just 10 pounds and could be the perfect little companion for someone looking for a smaller dog to share life’s quieter moments. Kobe came to us from another rescue and is a friendly little guy with some opinions of his own! He can occasionally get growly, so he’ll need someone who understands that dogs have boundaries and is willing to respect his signals rather than push him when he’s uncomfortable. When he’s in a cuddly mood, Kobe loves settling into your lap and enjoying some quality time with his person. He’s also a great little travel buddy who rides well in the car, walks nicely on a leash, and did well for his veterinary care. Kobe would likely do best with older, respectful children who understand how to give a dog space when needed. He’s open to meeting other dogs and can be cat tested. With his small size and love of lap time, Kobe could be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a loyal little companion for leisurely walks, cozy afternoons, and plenty of together time. If you’re looking for a pint-sized pal with a bit of personality and a soft spot for cuddles, Kobe would love to meet you! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Welcome Chewie to PK! This adorable 3-year-old female Pembroke Welsh Corgi came from another rescue and weighs 20 pounds. Chewie is timid and can be cautious around new people but is also friendly and gentle. She has a moderate energy level and would likely enjoy a nice balance of walks, playtime, and relaxing with her people. Chewie can become anxious during veterinary visits, and she may benefit from anti-anxiety medication beforehand to help make those appointments less stressful. Her new family should be prepared to continue socializing her gently and positively, helping her gain confidence at her own pace. Because she can be nervous, she’d do best with older children who understand the importance of giving her space and treating her gently. Chewie is open to meeting other dogs and can be cat tested. If you’re looking for a sweet Corgi companion and have the patience to help a sensitive girl feel safe and secure, Chewie could be the one for you! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Meet Zeus! This stunning 1½-year-old German Shepherd weighs 64 pounds and is quite the impressive young man. But beneath that gorgeous Shepherd exterior is a goofy, smart boy who is still figuring things out and would benefit from some stability, consistency, and continued training. Zeus seems a little anxious at times, so he’ll need a family willing to give him time to settle in while helping him build confidence and learn what’s expected of him. He’s a very active, high-energy guy who will need plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive training to keep his clever mind and busy body occupied. The good news is that Zeus already has some nice manners! He was good for his veterinary care, rides beautifully in the car, and even knows how to lie down and relax during the ride. He seems interested in playing with other dogs, so we believe he’d be open to meeting potential canine companions. He can be cat tested, and we think he’d likely do best with older or bigger kids who can handle his size and enthusiasm. Zeus has so much potential and is looking for someone who will give him the structure, activity, and guidance he needs to grow into the best dog he can be. If you love German Shepherds and are ready for a smart, energetic, goofy companion, Zeus could be your guy! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info. Meet Lucas. This handsome little guy is 9 years old, weighs just 9 pounds, and is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix. And let us tell you, this boy is quite the catch! Lucas is incredibly friendly, gentle, and affectionate. He was a superstar for all of his veterinary care, showing everyone what a good boy he is. He enjoys going for walks and walks nicely on a leash, but he’s also more than happy to cuddle up with his favorite people and soak up some affection. Lucas is eager to please and has that wonderful, loving personality that makes a dog such an easy companion to adore. He is open to meeting other dogs, can be cat tested and would be fine with kids. At 9 years old, he’s past the puppy chaos and ready to focus on the good stuff: leisurely walks, cozy cuddles, and having someone to love. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart and all the makings of a wonderful companion, Lucas might just be your perfect match. Seriously, what a catch! Apply at lvpeaceablekingdom.info.
